Besides 16 x 13 roller weights, the Honda Dio uses 3 x 9 roller weights as stock. In the event yours has 16X13 roller weights, this kit would be suitable. (nota bene Take the time to carefully read the instructions. Combine 2 sets of rollers alternating patterns, for example, 3 x 5g & 3 x 10g A 5 is achieved with 3 x 6g rollers (alternating weights in a variator). This roller set is 5 grams. It is important that you bear in mind It is necessary to install these weights alternately, otherwise you may end up with a serious imbalance. Rolls such as these should only be used for tuning purposes. We don't recommend using them for extended periods of time This is a term used. Then, when you know the weight that is appropriate for your set up, you need to buy a complete set of rollers The product description can be found here.
If you use less weight, you will have faster takeoff, and if you use more weight, you will have top speed. As every scooter is different, you will most likely have to try several different combinations for me I find that 5 grams and 7 grams combined for a top end weight of 12 grams works nicely, so I recommend watching how to tune transmission and entering your cc on YouTube. We will be able to find good information in the videos about motor types. My learning process was like that. I wish you a safe ride.
The answer is yes if you want the rollers to be As long as the weights are staggered, it is ok to mix them.
Selected User Reviews For Prima Roller Weight Tuning Kit (16x13, 3g to 14g)
The rollers are very good! I highly recommend them for tuning and setup. Besides that, you might want to take a photo of the rollers in the package before opening so you can visualize them. My only complaint is the tray is a little flimsy and unmarked. You should keep in mind that this is ONLY a tuning and initial setup set. Rollers of this type are not meant to be used permanently.
When I read the other reviews before purchasing, I didn't expect to get rollers of such high quality. It seems like every roller in the pack has an edge like it was taken out of There is a little plastic burr on it, which I am sure is putting the balance out. Due to my current set up, I really only need four parts Seven different weights are offered, and among those, the brass weight does not appear to be evenly sized. A hacksaw almost looks like it was used to cut it from a pipe. Two different weight combinations were tested, one lighter than my current Dr. pulley sliders (6g) and the other I reached 30mph flat and 37mph downhill, with my ruck accelerating to both speeds. As an added bonus, I was 42 flat and 47 downhill when I swapped back my Dr. P. Although I will likely request a refund I will continue to try these.
It's a great tool for the price. The only thing I dislike is that the weights are not marked, so be careful to use the ones you want. The weights are a set of three instead of six. In my Ruckus, I have 5 and 6oz weights, a combination that's working great for me.
Bring some pep to it! We love our scooters, and this kit includes a selection of rollers that you can pick out of.
I received my order on time and everything worked out.
There is a suitable difference in weight between them all. do get small flat spots when they test ride for short periods, however. Despite the fact that they are "tuning" things, they could still be much.
We didn't like the fact that it only contains three rollers per manufacturer, instead of six, as it should be.
The quality is excellent.
