Questions & Answers
Yes, they are compatible with the Harley VRSCD Night Rod.
In my ElectraGlide Ultra 2012, I stuffed them. They did a good job, but it took them half as long as the Harley Pads. They were replaced at a distance of 23000 kilometers.
I ordered 6 brake pads, one for each set of brakes, and they arrived in a timely manner.
I've put about 1,000 miles on mine, and it's still quiet and responsive. They are appealing to me.

These do fit as advertised, but I wouldn't put them on a motorcycle I didn't like. If you want fading brakes and want to save money, these are probably the cheap pads for you; however, if you want effective brakes, don't buy these. I installed them, rode the bike and burned the pads in properly, and after feeling how much my braking was degraded, I tossed them in the trash, where they should've stayed the entire time. My fault for trying to save a buck, but don't make the same mistake I did, buy something else.
I bought these because I read that carbon fiber can handle heat better, and while that may be true, only a few weeks after installing them, the rear brakes began squealing like Ned Beatty, and about a month later, the front brakes began squealing, and it wasn't just any old squeal; every time I stopped, people turned their heads and stared because it was so loud. 4 months ago, I switched back to a good set of sintered brake pads, and the problem went away immediately, and the brakes have been quiet since then. You also "DO NOT" receive the pads that were advertised! They do not send you flare pads with the grove cut into them to dissipate gasses; instead, they send you plain flare pads, which are not what they advertise. Don't waste your time or money on a job that isn't worth repeating.
Great brakes, great price, easy installation, no squeaks, OEM or better stopping power, and the purple isn't visible, so there's no need to be concerned about the odd color. I strongly advise everyone!.
As the miles add up, I'll update this review. It was a perfect fit for my Night Rod Special from 2007. They're quiet, which I've heard some people complain about, but I guess I got lucky on this one. The bite is excellent, and 20 of the 300 miles I've driven them on have been on a twisty two-lane back road. The brakes performed admirably, far better than the previous setup (I bought the bike used with 20k miles on it).
They fit perfectly and perform admirably on my 2010 Ultra. There aren't any unusual noises. I can't speak to the durability just yet, but I don't see why they wouldn't last as long as competing products made of similar materials. br>br>It's just a long-winded way of saying update on the term: After 5,000 miles, there were no braking issues. This bike was recently traded in, and I will not hesitate to use this brand again if/when the brake pads on this newer one need to be replaced.
What you pay for is exactly what you get. I bought these on sale for a low price, but I should have known better. I only recently had to put in a set in the back. When they brake, they make a sandpaper sound. It took a lot of pedaling to get them to bite, and I'm sorry I didn't return them on time. From Amazon, I ordered a Harley-Davidson-specific brand. Touring bikes from Harley-Davidson. I'll order a backup set for the front if they turn out well.
But I installed them, and they are quiet and stop the bike; I'm not sure how many miles I can get before I need to replace them; it's too early to tell. However, for the same price as one Harley Davidson set, I could buy four!.
They're great, but other reviewers aren't kidding when they say they're the best. They are said to be loud. Currently, I'm riding two different bikes to complete these. I'd probably buy them again, primarily because of the low price.
