A portion of the driver's side detached from one clip that attached it to the bumper cover, and the section that was in front of the wheel was destroyed by the tire. The piece is shipped The flexibility of the product may also be its downfall since even a single connector can stop working. Parts of this component are about 1/16 inch thick, while original plastic components are about 1/8 inch It is a soft flexible plastic part instead of a hard plastic one. In order to replace the OEM plastic with a thicker more durable replacement, I will make a trip to the junkyard. Due to the softness of the material, I assume the detachment occurred due to stress applied to the attachment to the bumper cover It seems that a hard bump caused the clip to slip off of the mount hole, and a high windspeed whipped the cover back and forth into the wheel, creating a giant gaping hole in an entire panel. As a result, I wasted a lot of money on a component that was supposed to last for years, but did not last even Anyone who is looking for a suitable replacement part for their vehicle cannot possibly recommend you this product.
There were some holes that were not aligned with the liner, but for the price we were able to overcome. As a bonus, we put mud flaps on our 05 Matrix, which helped hold it in place when one side was a little too short. The product overall is superior and at a great.
The Toyota Matrix liners are not 100% OEM, but they are better than the OEM products. As of yet, no problems have been encountered Considering their quality and fit into the opening quite nicely - they appear to be equivalent to the OEM. It appears that they're in their 90s 90% of the holes lined up with the original mold (only 2 or 3 holes were off, but could be fixed quickly with a hole punch or box cutter knife).
The fit was great, and the installation was straightforward.
I found that it worked well with a 2005 Toyota Matrix XR.
I was not able to wear it properly.
On a 2005 Toyota Matrix it fit well enough.
It is weak, and it cannot be installed. This paper is thin.
