There is no way to prevent rusting with series 400 stainless. Ages 18 to It is impossible to get an 8 in China because it is too expensive. There was a comment about one not being machined properly, so maybe they're from Asia or China.

This kit is good, but you need to add parts to it. In 6. ). The only thing I don't like about them is they don't fit TJ Wrangler rear tailgate hinges, despite the advertisement specifically stating that In addition, I highly doubt that the fitment will work on older YJs. As a result, all of these bolts are 7/8" long, which is the same length as most body bolts in the TJ. A door hinge can only be bolted to the door itself and door hinges cannot be screwed to a door. These 7/8 bolts do fit there without interfering with the window mechanisms since they are exactly the same length as the 5/8 bolts. Other than the tailgate hinges, there is one exception to the rule. The gate itself as well as the places where it mounts on the body. A 1/4" bolt is used at these locations because that's how the factory bolts were designed. could thread these bolts for the tailgate hinge into one hole, but not the other (body mount side). I have been trying to find these 5/16" stainless torx bolts in 1 1/4" length and it has proven difficult because of how hard it is to find these bolts. The screwdrivers are normally available in smaller sizes with a hex key (Allen Wrench) or the security Torx versions (with the raised pins in the heads), or plain Flathead torx is available in stainless steel, though not flathead. Currently, Fastenal is the ONLY place I've found where to buy them, but they charge an arm and a leg for shipping. There are no hardware stores that sell these Torx heads aren't going to be found in stainless steel, they're either going to be phillips, slotted, or hex. Some will not care, but I wanted the body bolts to match, so instead of hex keys, phillips, and slotted bits, I only needed one set of Torx It's tough to drill those Allen head bolts out if they get tangled in something and they will strip. It is unlikely that Torx will strip or round out under most circumstances. I'd like to add one last point on stainless steel quality. I actually like it a lot. A couple of these were placed in a cup of salt water for three weeks, and yesterday, they were taken out. It does not show even the slightest sign of corrosion or oxidation. The reason I mention this is that a lot of cheap grades of stainless steel do rust. As no Wrangler uses more than 24 bolts of this size, I am not sure why this kit includes 44 bolts of this size A total of 26 were there.
A very short summary.
They both look good and work well.
I expected the bolts to arrive, so they fit my 2005 TJ just fine. It does not contain the doorbolts (those that hold the hinge to the door itself) because they are shorter and are not included in this kit.
