Around 1 would be a good estimate As it is also 1/2 inch wider, it might be able to reduce noise buffeting on the sides of my helmet, even though I haven't noticed any Although it is much better than stock, it may be too upright to be perfect for.

I like it a lot. The height of my frame is 5'8" and the weight is I love the way this wind shield fits me and my bike. My decision to purchase a tall screen like this one was influenced by reviews that mention buffeting issues if you use an aftermarket shield on your Despite my concerns about buffeting, I've had no such problems so far. pushed it to the upper limits of the speed limit yesterday to see how it would perform, and I was extremely happy. As I sat in it, I did not feel flimsy or stressed in the slightest, and my upper body did not feel tugged around or shaken. For me, this is definitely a better screen than the stock one!.

Still an appropriate looking windscreen, despite its larger size

In this case, the Givi windscreen replaces the shallow stock windscreen on a 2015 Honda NC700X. The original is much better but this is nonetheless an excellent choice. With my half helmet on, I am 6 feet tall and this windscreen blocks about 90% of the wind from my head and chest. My face and head are not buffeted excessively, even at speeds above 70 mph. By wearing a 3/4 helmet with a shield, the phenomenon of buffeting at high speeds can be avoided.

I think this is a good deal. There is enough height in it over OEM that most buffeting is eliminated.

The Nc700x was released in 2013. A few screws from stock are sufficient to attach the screen to the new one. There is a great difference between stock and the new ride quality. Six feet two inches and a commuter speed of 60 miles per hour Approximately 70 mph. He seems to be doing very well.

This windbreaker feels great to wear, and offers decent protection from the wind

I mounted this on my 2015 700x, but make sure the stock windshield adjusters are in the lowest setting or you'll have issues controlling the vehicle. I don't feel the wind as much (I'm 6'1) because my helmet sits right above it and takes like 90% of the wind off of your chest. This makes a long highway trip much more enjoyable. It would be a good choice for someone who wants to upgrade from stock but does not need a huge.
