Mark,br>Rivets aren't reusable, and the new Kickstand Rubber Pad doesn't come with replacements. Lowe's had stainless steel screws, lock washers, and acorn nuts, so I went there and got them. Drilling out rivets is required. The best way to remove the head is to center punch the rivets and graduate the bits. If you don't have a lift, block your tires and place a piece of 1x under your kickstand to start. If you can, lean your bike against a wall or have someone hold it up so you can put the stand up and get a straight shot at it. Bird 106

The hardware for a simple installation was not included. I went to get some hardware at a hardware store.
The kickstand on my Honda was damaging my floors, so I had them expoxied coated. I looked for a rubber pad but couldn't find one, so I remembered that we had put this pad on his Victory. It was necessary to drill holes, but it worked out beautifully!.
I like that the pad is an OEM replacement, but I wasn't prepared to drill out the rivets in order to replace the pad completely. This was supposed to be a replacement kit, complete with the two rivets required.
Fantastic product manufacturing facility.
It was necessary to drill out rivets from the old pads, but the installation was simple and the bike now stands more upright.
Choose the puck if you want your bike to sit more upright. Aside from that, it's perfect!.
I had to replace a motorcycle I had recently purchased, but I will not be purchasing another. In my opinion, this is a bad patent. I used thicker hardware in the hopes of extending the life of the pad? I'll either make my own next time or not replace it at all. Just my two cents' worth. Ride on!.
This is a fantastic substitute. The bike is now sitting properly.
