When all my friends have to find a place to lean their bikes to take a break, this works great on my crf450r. One thing to keep in mind is to double-check the bolts that hold it in place; mine came loose due to thread lock and were stripped out.
It's a little on the expensive side, but it's simple to set up and use. It's so strong that you can leave it on stand while you kickstart it. Make some extra cash by working!.
It's very light and seems to be strong enough. This isn't a heavy-duty stand, but it'll get the bike up and running on its own. It's not designed for spinning the bike around on tight trails (which is why I didn't buy it), and I wouldn't recommend it for mounting. With a plastic toe, it's made of aluminum. When not in use, it tucks neatly under the frame and stays in place. Spring is a beautiful season.
To fit my 2012 crf 450R, I had to make a few minor adjustments. It was supposed to be a perfect fit, but it wasn't. The spring and the clip to which the spring was attached were both too short. To hook the spring on, I needed a longer clip. It appears to be a little too long for the 450R as well. It is very easy to tip the bike over the other way when sitting on a flat surface because it stands the bike up to straight.
I like it, and it's very simple to set up. It really works. br>I wish I had bought this years ago!.
It was very simple to put together, and everything went where it was supposed to go.
IT LOOKS GREAT AND IS EASY TO INSTALL.
No return spring was included, and there were no instructions on how to get the proper measurement for spring calculation, or whether a base plate was required to attach it to the highest point.
