It is true. Without a doubt.
This is from 2004-2005, according to the inscription The piece for the triple tree in the package was just the same in the pictures as the one for the 2004 models, but it fit perfectly into my 2001 R1. I ordered it because I could not find an old listing for this package for anything before 2004.

It all fits perfectly and looks great, too. I like the keychain and the sticky actually sticks.
I have not had much success getting the gas cap part on, since it seemed too large. However, I managed to get it on only to discover it wasn't sticky enough, and it flew off during riding, probably when leaning and sliding over it (with All the other items are still there and look great. It is the first release for 2008.
The sticker on the tree does not fit exactly on the 2007.
Pieces stick okay, but I had to use a heat gun to get them to stick firmly. I bought three.
I like it.
The fact that the price was so high was fine, but the price should've been a little lower.
