A parts company like Stens is all they do. Based on the appearance, this is the Radiator Specialties L711 chain lube.
It probably would be okay. But I would only use this in a recessed track where there is no danger of someone stepping on it and tracking all over
It's like water a little bit thin. There is another gel spray kind that seems to be more effective at lubricating. This stuff kinda reminds me of what I find on the World Wide Web
Despite its clear color, this product has a slight yellow tinge.

Liquid Wrench L711 chain lube has been working for me on my motorcycle chains for quite a while. A new can I purchased has been good until I took it on a four-day trip to see the Grand Canyon A road trip that lasts one day. On applying it for the first time, I noticed the consistency was thinner than usual and the smell was like low-grade The diesel fuel smell lingered on my riding gloves for days after I accidentally oversprayed them. This stuff smells very strong, and the entire time my bike smelled like a leaky backhoe or CAT D9. After arriving home, I was able to compare the new can of L711 to the old can I still had, so I was sure it was different. It is obvious from the CAS numbers on the can that the ingredients have changed. Lighter refined lubes tend to have petroleum smell and feel, as well as the typical smell and feel of an old can of ingredients. I can smell crude diesel fuel in this new formula, as it is thinner and smells thinner than gasoline. is also foamy when it is first put into the can, but it Although I am not sure about its lubricating properties, it seems to dry out the chain more than the old formulation. Exactly why Blumenthal Holdings changed the formula for L711 is unknown to me. It's time for the new can to be thrown away As a result of the smell, I cannot use it in any other way. Other options are on my list.
In terms of the product, it is excellent. What it does is what it should On my motorcycle, I use this to lubricate the throttle cables, so that they don't get stuck in dirt. When applied to the throttle cables, it creates foam. The spray tube is the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five. It is common with most cans of aerosol to have the little tube that comes with it not stay in the sprayer, it is not stiff enough so it bends readily after a few uses, and when used with a cable lubrication tool, it constantly blows.
This is not a good I will go back to my other teflon based equipment, as it appears to attract dust and dirt like crazy. This cost more, but it was worth it since I wouldn't have to sanitize and resurface as often Using a garden hose, this stuff comes off of the skin right after a ride. There's nothing to like about it! If you don't care about the amount of overspray or splattering on your ride, the spray nozzle will spread lube all over it. As you can see in the pictures above, it's very hard to control the blast level, and the spray pattern is too wide to fit on a bike chain if like me, you don't want your carbon/alloy rims to be covered in this stuff. It is best to use genuine bike chain lube that comes in dropper bottles. Here's a shot I thought I would give a try. There is no way to do this Two of my favorite things.
Buying this before reading a review of Chain Lube by Project Farm has saved me time and money. This was a really big The spray is easy to apply, but the chain will still rust. When used on a street bike that has never been wet, the left side of the rear tire started to appear reddish after the first ride. I noticed that most of the dust on the tire was from the chain as I cleaned it. There was squeaking noise and it had dried out. After I reapplied, I realized I hadn't put on enough coat, so I reapplied thicker. I was shocked to see the same thing happen Despite the chain being loose and rusted, it was even more so this time. There is a problem for a m / c chain with this. With a new chain, Purple Extreme Performance Synthetic Chain Lubricant has proven to be the best chain lubricant to date.
The strands of wire rope work eventually harden on the inside of the cable where they contact each other and bend/slide. This, eventually, will result in the strands becoming brittle and will As soon as you see the cable externally, it's beyond time to replace it. In addition to providing longevity to a cable, a penetrating lubricant helps reduce friction and wear inside the cable. A person who greases the outside of the cable is making a major mistake, as the grease will only serve to attract dirt, preventing a penetrating lubricant from doing My four post automotive lift (9,000 lbs) uses this lube to penetrate the metal and let the lube stay where it is needed. This prevents solvents from being trapped under the lube. It is located inside.
This lube works very well for me since it comes out as a liquid. When using this lube, I soak a 3" x 3" cloth and use it to squeeze all the lube into the chain while spinning the rear tire by hand. You can gently rub your fingertip across a link after it has fully dried and it will come away with just a faint amount of lube that's almost as oily as waxy. There is no real sense in when to relube the chain since it appears dry, so I reapply approximately once every hundred miles. Although some might choose to go considerably farther, 200 miles is a reasonable amount of distance.
Despite claims to the contrary, this chain lubricant didn't work. When I saw this old standard name by an old brand, I thought it would be good since I was currently using another brand that unfortunately is no longer available. Not at all! I had rubbed this stuff onto the chain and it began to rust within maybe two days. It was no longer noticeable that the chain was treated with this product. The stuff that came with my Suzuki Bandit 1250 did not work for some reason.
The product was excellent and I would purchase it Buying this to use on a chain drive garage door opener seemed like a good idea. Cleaning and applying the spray to all guide surfaces was my first step. sprayed very wet with a lot of runoff, so I backed it up with a rag to prevent it from soaking into my fabric. There is some drying involved and a slick finish is left behind. There was a noticeable improvement in function after only one day. I found the following to be my takeaway My chain drive garage door opener and slide channel were the right products for my needs. It is hard to control the spray flow of the sprayer. There is a lot of over-estimating Unless you are very careful, there will be a lot of waste and spray. The film is not as thick as It had been a couple of weeks since the garage was smelt of oil. It does the task I wanted and does not fly off of the moving parts. I am taking off a star because it is very noticeable inside.
