New Pig 25201 15 in. x 50 ft. Universal Light-Weight Absorbent PIG Mat Roll

After looking through Amazon's listings, I came across this one. We were able to find exactly what we needed. We do a lot of repairs, and my father owns a farm, so these are very useful. They absorb quickly; an oil spilled on my father's floor would not come up with regular paper towels, soap, or water. I put these on it, and there was no oil or residue left on the floor after 30 minutes. We also found antifreeze on our driveway when we returned home. We laid it down, and when we picked it up, the pad was much lighter in that area, and you could almost see the driveway's original color again. This is an absolute must in any hardworking household. This was a regular priced purchase and I can't wait to buy more in the future because the price is still within a normal person's budget.

My main purpose is to clean up after changing the oil in inboard marine engines on boats. Like a garage floor, you'll want to keep the engine bay clean. These mats are ideal for any situation involving oil, and I'm sure they'd also work well with other liquids, such as gas. They absorb the oil completely, leaving only a small amount on your hands. I've also used them as a mat in the drawers of my tool chest. They'd absorb grease left on tools and prevent grease from getting on a metal service, similar to paper towels on steroids.

These were ordered for our shop by my fiancée. He uses them at work to absorb oil and fluids, but buying them locally was quite expensive. They're the same oil-absorbing towels he uses at work, but they're much less expensive. I'm sure his employer can afford the higher price, but this is a much better option for personal use when he's working on our cars and cars for friends. He is very pleased with this item, and I am confident that he will purchase more in the future.

It absorbs any liquid spilled on it, including oils, lubricants, and grease, while also holding parts in place and preventing them from rolling away. I didn't realize how much I needed it until I used it for the first time! br>br>Also performs admirably in terms of oil cleanup and leak prevention. Simply lay a piece of PIG mat down where your jalopy is leaking oil, and it will absorb an excessive amount of fluid. If the fluid is already dow, simply place the PIG mat on it and it will absorb it immediately! I'll be purchasing a lot more of this in the future!.

Surprisingly, this product isn't used in the automotive industry. We have an elderly cat who misses the litter box from time to time. Wood floors are damaged by cat urine, which is also unpleasant. The Pig Mats were recommended by our car mechanic, who also has cats. The urine and odor are rapidly absorbed by the mats. When we notice spots on the mats, we simply discard them and unroll a new one to replace them.

It's not the best for picking up quickly. A paper towel would be preferable. It's ideal for leaving places where you're certain there will be oil. Like a Bridgeport's base or a lathe's chip tray, for example.

Large spills, on the other hand, will not absorb all of it and will bleed through. You'd be better off using regular paper towels and kitty litter instead.

Outside, I use this under my turkey fryer, and there's no mess to clean up on my patio area's concrete.
