The strap is certainly strong enough for the job, but I'm not convinced that the clasp mechanism, while adequate for most jobs, is up to the constant jostling and bouncing that occurs when supporting a punching bag. To keep the strap in place, I imagine you'd have to knot it. You could certainly give it a shot, as you wouldn't lose much money if it didn't work out, as long as you're confident there won't be any safety concerns if it fails and falls. Constant slippage, I believe, would be more of a problem, as it would be abrasive and cause the strap to wear out over time.
Yes, these straps could hold a battery in place on your Jeep. The straps (I only needed one) were purchased this summer to secure a Propane Tank to a hand cart that was frequently used to repair driveway blacktop. The strap (I only needed one) has kept the tank well secured and has never slipped or required tightening. The straps were well-made and functional for my application.
That is exactly what we did with ours.
The strap and buckle should be fine in the sun, but we cannot guarantee that the colors will not fade if exposed to the sun for an extended period of time.

They (type 24 battery box) are ideal for this job. No matter how long the road trip lasts, the cam buckle will keep you secure. The straps have excellent stitching. If you're sick of the strap that comes with the standard battery box (which I was, they're awful! ), this is the battery box for you. ) You will not be disappointed if you purchase these.
To hold down small bundles of lumber on my truck's rack, I used Amazon's 5" wide straps. The webbing is thick, and the cam buckles are a match for it. I needed some longer straps after a successful lumber run the next day. In the 1, I couldn't find any longer lengths. I contacted the company directly because I couldn't find a 5" version on Amazon. There is no minimum order quantity, according to the company's website. I spoke with Ron, who was very friendly and accommodating, and he took my order for one. 8 foot and 16 foot straps with 5" buckles lengths in feet (I had the option of specifying any length and selecting from four different webbing colors. ) When I told him I lived in the area, he said they could make the straps that day and I could pick them up a few hours later- and I did, and they're fantastic as well. Give these straps, as well as this company, a chance.
Keep an eye on your money. These straps have a lot of weight to them. They're well-made and thick. The buckles and stitching are both of excellent quality. These were purchased to keep the battery boxes on my camping trailer secure. When I was towing the trailer, the old straps would wiggle loose. These straps don't move around. They don't budge or loosen in the least. The money was well spent. I'd strongly suggest it. I'd make another purchase.
When I'm hauling my atv, I use these to secure my Yeti to the tailgate of my truck, and they work great. When I'm hauling my atv, I first load it, then place my cooler on the tailgate, pressed up against the atv's tires. Then connect them to some anchor straps I made for my bed tow downs points by hooking them through the cooler's extra handle slots. If I had thought it through more carefully, I would have purchased the six-foot-long version of these straps so that I could run them directly through the bed tie-downs and avoid the need for an additional strap. This is how I drive back and forth from North Carolina to Ohio, and it always works out well, and I can still get into my cooler easily when I need to.
I run or walk a Siberian Husky and a Doberman together every day for a reasonable price. I was wearing an NRS cam strap around my waist to clip their leashes to because I was a river runner. I needed something with a larger surface area to absorb more shock. I also didn't want to spend a lot of money on a couple of overly excited dogs. These cam straps are absolutely fantastic. The 1 1/2-inch width is perfect for me. These are a little softer than the NRS straps as well. As a result, they're ideal for my requirements. However, I would not hesitate to use them in the presence of higher shock loads. They appear to be extremely well-made and long-lasting. I'm glad I stumbled upon them.
This was purchased as a safety strap for my television, which is mounted on the fireplace mantle. My 65-inch TV is mounted on a stand that can accommodate a 65-inch TV. My TV is also quite heavy, and I wanted to make sure that if the stand fails or the TV tips over, it doesn't fall on my dogs, who enjoy sitting in front of the fireplace. br>br>Behind the fireplace, there's a bracket, so I just wrapped this strap around the mounting arms on the TV and the bracket on the wall. This is ideal.
I've been using these for quite some time now, and they're still going strong. I'm not sure how they'll hold up to prolonged exposure to the elements because mine are only exposed to the elements for short periods of time. The latch mechanism on this strap is much more durable than on many others, which I appreciate. I use it to secure a poly hopper to my grain auger, and it works great. This purchase was of excellent quality, and I have no regrets about it. They come highly recommended from me! **
- br>I was in desperate need of a more durable strap, and these were ideal. Please keep in mind that these are a little shorter and wider than most, so make sure they'll fit your needs.
You don't buy a small strap like this for a random multi-tasking situation. Use for a specific purpose. You know what it'll be used for, and you want something durable that will last and is simple to deploy. That's exactly what these have been for me so far. They were simple to secure and lasted for about 1200 miles over the course of a few days. Some highway driving and some off-road trail bouncing - The boxes, on the other hand, remained firmly attached to the roof rack, eliminating the need to deal with several yards of flapping tail. a satisfied customer.
