A tough game to beat is In my opinion, the Monokey line of cases are the best because they can mount a Monokey base plate on various bikes and move it from one to another

If the Monokey mounting plate hasn't changed, you can pick up a used box that has been around for 20 years, and it will fit right on any Monokey base plate it will be as simple as that. Plus, Givi's quality simply can't be beat. In the new box I just purchased, a laser cut key is available, but I am not that excited about that since I have to order the spare keys from Givi rather than simply having my locksmith cut one. This new 40-liter box was put on a scooter, but I really would have preferred a smaller box, perhaps one of 30 liters. I do see a smaller box, but it is from their cheaper Monolock line and it does not mount the same way as the Monokey boxes, so I would not be able to change boxes from bike to bike. Anyway, I'm very happy with Givi.

Used the GIVI E193 Monokey Topcase Mounting Adapter For BMW R1200RT. Great box at a great price. The Adapter was fitted to the bike with large nylon cable ties. The only cable ties you need are nylon cable ties. The adapter is installed in a much shorter amount of time because of this.

I prefer this locking mechanism over my earlier 46 liter GIVI case, but it can be used on any bike, including all my touring-style bikes. what it is supposed to do.

You need one to use them. The Monokey from GIVI is extremely well constructed, and it takes only a second to mount on the It is impossible for them to drag the wind. The Givi racks can receive any size box in a matter of seconds. During the daily commute to work, I have a small one, and during a long trip I have a larger one.
