These items appear to be incredible. They fit snugly and give the lights a truly one-of-a-kind and customized appearance. All of this is possible without paying the Harley-Davidson tax. Also, it says they won't fit my road glide, but they do. br>br>There is one thing to keep in mind. Make sure that the LED lights are extremely bright so that they can shine through the tinted lenses. There are a few great ones on Amazon. You'll be visible and safe there. Look at the images below. These items are incredible.
If you're replacing red lenses, you may need to purchase red bulbs. When I went to my neighborhood auto parts store, all they had were red led bulbs. Although they appear to be attractive, the low wattage causes the flash to be faster. As a result, you may want to include red incandescent bulbs in your order.
The end result was flawless, so these are fantastic. A little tweaking was required. Before the lens cover could be attached to the LED light disk, the rubber gasket had to be removed. Because the lens cover was so tight, I had to file down the contact points. After that, it fit perfectly, and I could hear it "snap" into place. It looks almost seamless where the chrome joins together, and it fits flush and snugly. I would recommend this product, and if you have any questions, please contact me.
It's possible that the reviews claiming it's loose are from a previous model, or that the manufacturer improved the design. Once installed, it's a nice snug fit. Softail Deluxe has a simple retro clean look to it. I understand that most people would prefer it to be made of metal and fully chromed, but for the price, it'll suffice; let's see how long the chrome paint surface lasts.
A 2016 Sportster XL1200C is the bike I ride. Because my baby is chrome and black, I was ecstatic to receive these lights. They didn't fit the stock front turn signals, but they did fit the back turn signals. I'm pretty sure the front and back of the shirt are the same size, so I'm not sure what the problem was. I returned them and replaced them with smoked lenses as a result of this.
It's a minor detail, but it significantly improves the appearance of my 2014 SG. The brows also shade the light, making the lights brighter during the day. Just be patient when installing them; they take a little effort to pop in.
All I can say to all the negative reviews about lens fitment is to press on the lense rather than the outer ring. Mine fit perfectly on both my 2003 fatboy and my wife's 2006 sportster. Is it a good fit? Yes, but I didn't have to make any changes to install all eight of them. I certainly don't want them to slip in and then fall out at a later date. These are a perfect fit. Simply place your finger on the lense to activate it.
After snapping the lens on, there is a small gap between the lens cover and the light fixture, as mentioned in another review. Hopefully, there won't be any water in the light socket. They do, however, appear to be quite attractive.
