Yes, I believe it is solely the light housing. It would have to happen first in order to transfer the factory bulb and socket into use.
Obviously the housings are the big ones here, even though I should say that. There is no need to plug in bulbs, sockets, or wires. It's unfortunate your lights weren't working. My goodness, that was really er thing.

I have it from 94 years prior. To install the two side bulbs, I first had to file a hole through the opening of one of the lights. The barrier was broken off while they tried to enter even with a lot of force. However, the lights are amazing!! Dark color cars look nice against them. It looks great. They're really reliable as well, only one thing I had to do to set them up properly was to move a couple of slots.
There is no difficulty putting on this product. Because the smaller bulbs wouldn't fit, I had to use electrical tape. It came out great, but I'd done the research in advance to make sure they wouldn't work. My 97 integra has it, thanks for that.
To get in, one has to shave a little bit, as other people have suggested. However, overall they look and fit well.
This is the most convenient way to ensure a clean look for your car since it fits right in the car.
