Perfect fit, bright, and the full LED panel looks fantastic. I'm also pleased with the turn signal feature. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> The run mode stopped working after just one ride in the rain. The brake light is still working, but it appears that the water has messed up the rear panel, which is exposed and offers no protection from the water that seeps in through the fender holes.
It's fantastic! It's bright and fits my 2004 Harley-Davidson Sportster XL1200c perfectly.
It arrived in perfect condition.
I've had a different MOVOTOR taillight with integrated turn signals installed on my 06 Dyna. LWHT01S is the part number, and it's available on Amazon as well. To see it, copy the URL below. I'll call it taillight 1 for the purposes of this review. When it's turned on, it glows in a circle, with half-moon-shaped turn signals. br>br> For whatever reason, I bought a second MOVOTOR, which we'll call taillight 2, to see if it was any better, which it is. br>br>One thing I liked about taillight 1 was that it already had the plugs for connecting the turn signals, whereas taillight 2 required splicing into the harness. When comparing the two taillights, that is about the only thing that is better. So I wouldn't have to splice the factory harness, I cut the plugs off of taillight 1 and used them with taillight 2. Riding a motorcycle has a number of advantages, one of which is the ability to be seen. Because taillight 1 is not as bright as taillight 2, I prefer the latter. This light appears to have more LEDs in general, and they're brighter in both regular on and braking modes. Pictures aren't always accurate, but 2 is clearly brighter than 1. br>br>If the manufacturer reads this review, I recommend making this taillight with plugs, just like your other lights, so that people don't have to splice into the harness.
For my Sportster XL1200C, this is a simple plug-and-play application. I didn't connect the turn signals because I only wanted to use it for the rear taillight and brake light. This one appealed to me because it is low-profile and improves the appearance of the bike (as evidenced by the before and after photos). The light was a good fit for the provided back padding, which kept it from getting wet. It appears to be of a high standard. I'll come back to update it after I've put some miles on it.
There's no need to configure anything. No bs. There will be no wire cutting if only the tail light is used. It looks fantastic and has significantly reduced the profile of my 2004 lowrider. Even though it's smoked, it's bright and shines brightly on the plate.
Because I have a 95 fxdl, it was a bit of a pain to install, but anyone with a 99 or later with the newer baseplate should be able to do so without difficulty. I didn't use the turn signal, but the trail light is very bright and looks great. I would advise you to.
