The blade is made of too thick plastic. I suggest stealing your wife's electric nail file, disassembling the bulbs, grinding down all 20 blades, and reassembling the bulbs. They work after a few hours of fitting problems! It's not much brighter, but it's a nice, cool white temperature. They work for my RV and should significantly extend the battery life. They also reduce heat against the ceiling, which reduces condensation in my roof.

I was blown away by how simple it was to install and how much brighter it was. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to take a long trip with our trailer until recently. We couldn't figure out where the smell of "burning" came from on the first day. We discovered it as depicted in the photos. Our entire trailer did not catch fire, which was a huge relief. The original bulbs were still in the trailer, so I replaced them with OEM bulbs. That black stuff on the inside of the lens isn't a crack in the socket; it's whatever the black stuff on the inside of the lens is. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with myself right now.

These are probably a five-star product in terms of function, but they should be a one-star product due to the shoddy method used to make the bases. If these were true 921 LED bulbs, the plastic bases would be shaped to fit into the sockets used by fixtures that originally came with glass 921 bulbs. Instead, the product's base was installed with square edges that needed to be ground/filed down to fit into the fixture socket. I had to remove the bases from all of the bulbs, break/round the edges, and then reinstall the bases onto the LED array to accomplish this. I'm going to try a different brand next time I need these.

br>br>As many others have said, these are a tight fit, so be careful not to bend the light or the socket. I found that if I inserted from the top closer to the ceiling in a slightly downward angle and moved slightly side to side, most of them went in fairly easily. Now for the good stuff. br>br> They're bright (but not as overpowering as some bright whites I've had in the past). They don't produce any heat at all! When I was replacing the incandescents, I discovered that turning them on for just 2 or 3 minutes to expand the socket and make the insert easier to remove made them extremely hot to the touch, and I had to remove them with a paper towel. I've had the LEDs on for 30 minutes and have not noticed any significant heat. Putting aside the obvious energy savings, I just feel safer with these than I did with the factory incandescents, which I was afraid would burn the trailer down if left on for too long. br>br>I just ordered another 20 pack because I'm out of 7 (apparently this trailer requires 27 bulbs!). ) and getting the 20 pack rather than the 10 pack was more cost effective, so I figured a few extras wouldn't hurt.

These are ideal and precisely what I needed! They're extremely bright, far more so than the bulbs I replaced in my camper! I preferred white light over warm white in order to extract as much light as possible from them. They fit snugly in the socket, which is good because I'm confident they won't move around during travel. I'd buy them again without a doubt.

I'm not sure if these photos accurately depict the difference, but in person, there is a significant difference. For the time being, these are my "go to" lights. These will undoubtedly be the ones I recommend for RV use if anyone asks. When these lights are turned on, I honestly can't look at them straight in the eyes. Despite the fact that the light covers are in place. If you don't want your RV to look like it's being abducted by aliens, these aren't for you. Even during the day, with background light filtering in, any light looks good at night, but these make a difference.

This is fantastic! My camper has a new lease on life thanks to these LED lights! I prefer to purchase led bulbs that are as close to 3000K as possible, which is the standard color temperature. These bulbs are exactly what I've been looking for. Color, crispness, and cascade are all fantastic! And they only use a quarter of the energy that old bulbs did!.

The 192 bulbs in my travel trailer needed to be replaced, so I bought these. They're a lot brighter, and they've been working great so far! The plastic base, on the other hand, is only connected to the circuit board by the two wires that serve as contacts. The PCB does not go all the way to the end of the plastic cap! This means that if you don't take care when plugging it in, the whole thing will fold over, potentially damaging the "contacts. " The plastic base is also a tad too big for the socket. It fits, but it's a tight fit. When these two factors combined, plugging the lights into their respective sockets became extremely difficult. To secure them in the socket, I had to rely solely on the plastic base, which was a difficult task. br>br>I'd say I'm satisfied with them overall, but if I had to install/replace them more than once, I'd look for something else.
