I'd say no, there are no springs. As a result of the raised contacts that act as tension for the bulb, the contacts are springy. There is no spring, however. A grooved channel on the side of the bulb locks the bulb in place. According to industry standards, this type of bulb has this feature.

Nice long leads that are easy to work with.
