You should not have any problems with the airbags on the sides of the back as long as they are on the side. This seat back strap only secures to the headrests, so it doesn't fit tightly on the seat back. It's a different story with the seat base. This is not a product I am overly pleased with- Although not perfect, this method appears to be an acceptable way to temporarily attach the seat cover to the car.
