These were recommended to me by a friend, and I immediately went online to read reviews to see which one was the best. They arrived quickly, and they were simple to set up. I followed the instructions to a tee. br>br>For months, I thought I was immune to everything. During my time with them, I only saw a couple of deer. Jane Doe then decided to hop her happy butt in front of my deer-proofed car on a cool November evening. which was moving at a speed of 65 miles per hour My 15-year-old son is behind the wheel. As can be seen in the photos. These aren't going to help you at all. br>br>Thankfully, no one was hurt, and the car was replaced. but yeah. Don't throw your money away.
These came quickly and at a reasonable price. I ordered two sets of two for my family's various vehicles. I can't say they work beyond a reasonable doubt, but after hitting two deer in a year and a half, I put a set of these on my car. I've seen deer along the roadside, but none have ventured onto the highway. There hasn't been a single near-miss since I installed these on my car. miss. I'd rather have them on the car than not, given that anecdotal evidence is all I have. I was able to stick these in the opening just beneath my grille (2019 Subaru Forester), so adhesion is good because they are well-protected underneath. The same can be said of my daughter's 2013 Subaru Legacy. I haven't looked at my husband's car yet (a 2017 Subaru Outback), but I'm hoping it will be as simple to install the whistles as the other two.
These do not seem to work for me. On his way home from work, my husband passes through a rural area. I put one on each side of the grill, as well as two on the roof. I don't believe these work because he hit a deer. br>br>Easy to apply and, I must say, they stay on quite well. However, due to damage, we were forced to purchase a new vehicle.
These are things I've never believed in before. After hearing enough people say that they work, I decided to give it a shot. I live in an area where there are a lot of deer roaming around. Let me state unequivocally that they work and are well worth the few dollars in "insurance. " Obviously, this will not guarantee that they will stay out of your way, but why not give them some encouragement when you have the opportunity?.
These work in the same way that Walmart's version does, and I know they're working because animals now flee when I approach them. Previously, the animals would frequently remain in or near the road. I just got a new car and hadn't gotten around to installing these for a few months. That is how I am able to make a comparison.
These are going to function. On my 2016 Ford Fusion, I installed them on the underside of the bumper. I didn't want them to be noticed too much. They've been mounted- side-down, but I don't think that will be an issue because all they need is airflow. One blows a whistle, while the other is deafeningly quiet. When I'm near a guard rail or Jersey wall that reflects sound back and the windows are open, I believe I can hear the one who whistles. br>I've been hit by a deer twice, the first time causing $3,000 in front-end damage and the second time colliding with the side of my wife's 2015 Explorer. I also applied some to hers. I'll have to wait and see if these deer are driven off the side of the road by these. When I drive home from work, I usually see a lot of people on the side of the road. I'll update my review if I notice that these appear to work.
I received these yesterday, and the adhesive is very sticky. I didn't hit a deer on the way to work this morning.
