My copy was purchased from a different store. It was, however, a two-for-one deal. Two were included in a single package.
It will work on tempered glass that hasn't been laminated, such as a windshield, as well as some modern windows. On YT, look for James Yeager's videos; he demonstrated a number of breaks.
I bought two of these.
As an example, I'll use the red one in the photo. Keep a firm grip on the red part. The black protective piece will be pulled out of the key ring, exposing the belt cutter blade. To cut the belt, hold on to the red portion and slide the blade away from you. I hope this helps!

I already had one, but I wanted four more as gifts. I reasoned that buying two sets of two would save me money. a total of four Unfortunately, while each one came with the necessary rings and loops, they were packaged in two-box sets, each with only one instruction sheet. It's not a good idea to give each gift two sets of instructions. br>br>My rating is based on the fact that I was not informed that I would not be receiving four individually packaged tools (in lots of two), as I had anticipated. I noticed cellophane packaging with lots of one, individually, while reading reviews from various sellers. That's how I expected them to arrive. I know I should have inquired about how they arrived, but as a previous seller, I had my order back-ordered in the hopes of finding the discontinued green color that one of my recipients wanted. I needed to get some delivered right away because I had been logged for nearly a month. br>br>I strongly recommend this incredibly valuable product; however, only buy from this listing if you're looking for a small box with two tools and two holders each, loose inside, (ring) However, there is only one set of instructions.
We live in a town where two major thoroughfares run parallel to a bayou. Between the road and the bayou, there is only about 5 to 7 feet of grass. Cars getting stuck in the water is a very common occurrence. I've always feared it, and knowing that if something bad happens to me or my husband, we'll be able to get out gives me peace of mind. One is in my car, and the other is in the possession of my husband. To remove the blade's small safety device, you must attach a key ring or string to it. It's extremely difficult to remove without one, which is beneficial for safety. But if you put something on it, it's a lot easier to pull off in a pinch. I'm glad I purchased these and that there are two in the package, one for each of our vehicles.
It's going to hurt! The fact that these tools are so small is something I really appreciate. I placed an order for two. One for my sunglasses visor, and the other for a small compartment to the left of my steering wheel (both compartments close). But there's one thing I'd like to point out. DO NOT PRESS THIS THING AGAINST YOUR THUMBNAIL TO SEE IF IT WORKS. It is going to work- It will be excruciatingly painful. Even if you don't apply a lot of pressure, the little metal spike will pop out. Furthermore, the black clip that you remove from the seat belt cutter part is extremely difficult to remove. I had to pop them off each tool for at least 30 seconds. I'm sure they're designed that way to prevent them from falling off your keychain, but I removed both of them because I won't be using the tool. That's not something I'd want to deal with in a panicked situation. These tools also come with two tiny zip ties in case you want to attach them to something else on your car, such as your rearview mirror (the zip ties are likely to break). These, on the other hand, are fantastic little gadgets. I'm considering purchasing some for my family and friends.
The only reason I didn't give it five stars overall is that, while I tested it on a seatbelt, I didn't test it on a car window. br>br>The build quality is excellent. I tested the "lunch" function on a soda can, and it appears to work fine on a tempered glass car window. br>br>At these prices, I purchased one for each of our extended family's six drivers. br>br>Auto escapes aren't just for the water, as many people believe; I acquired these after smashing a card window with an axe to free a trapped person.
It's not just for saving my life; it's also for combining with the gloves, shears, and CPR mask to save my life. I carry a tourniquet in my EDC bag, as well as an EMT bag. The ability to have a glass punch in my trunk, along with a fire extinguisher, could very well save someone's life. Having a rescue cutter on your person for such a low price, weight, and size when it can save not only your life but also the life of someone else justifies purchasing several. It is impossible to overstate how highly I recommend it.
This is something I adore, and I've purchased several for all of my friends. br>After 6 years, mine finally broke. br>And this has been going on for 6 years! br>I use mine to shatter bottles before putting them in the trash compactor. br>It has been extremely useful to me. br>I'll admit, I was disappointed when it broke, but I quickly returned to place another order! br>I keep it on my keychain at all times!.
There is a serious design flaw here. It's nearly impossible to get the tool out of the clip, which is required to protect you and anyone else in your car from the seatbelt-cutting blade, as well as to hang it. I wasn't planning on using the key ring because I was concerned that finding my keys would take too long. I'll send it back to you.
One of these is tied to the center console shifter knob in my car with paracord, so it's always close at hand. It easily pops off with a quick tug, but it's secure enough that I'm confident it wouldn't come loose in a crash - It's not heavy enough to do so. br>br>Due to the fact that this is a difficult thing to test. I'm going to keep it there in the hopes that I'll never need it, and that if I do, it will work.
