The washer will be crushed before the adapter bottoms out because it is too long. It made it simple for me to remove the threads from my 2002 EJ25 block. The fix: TIME- M18x1 Drain Pan Insert SERT SERT SERT SERT SERT SERT SERT SERT SERT The special thread lock, bit, and tap for the 5X10MM Part 18151 cost $50. Also, the original bolt fits in the new threads, but this adapter doesn't seem to be M18x1. See the pictures to see if I got a bad part. br>br>(Edit)br>After some more research, I discovered that the adapter threads are M18x1. 5 However, the threads were not cut far enough. A M18x1 was purchased by me. 5 die, I was able to properly thread the adapter. Now that this adapter and repair has cost me $65, I'm hoping it doesn't leak anymore!.
Subaru. If your oil pressure sender won't come out of the original adapter on your engine, or if your sender has failed or is leaking, this is a great item to replace it with. On the 1998 Legacy, it was used.
Works with any EJ Subaru block to install an oil pressure sensor. Fits either the front or the back of the oil galley.
Exactly what I needed!.
