No, the weld-on component is not included. in bung. The header supplier was where I got mine.
The wideband gauge must be calibrated by removing the sensor from the exhaust and placing it in ambient air. If the sensor is not removed, fuel residues in the exhaust pipe can skew any attempts at recalibrating.
I'm not sure because I haven't used it yet.
I would recommend having Tuning software as well, but I’t say’t tune alone w/.

***Recent changes. So far, it's been a massive waste of time. On the analog readout, it says 'heat. ' The gauge reads anywhere between 15 and 18 AFR after I wiggle the harness on the back side. I've decided to replace it with something else, but I'm guessing I'll have to return the $200. I'm wondering if it's a ping pong rip-off. AEM is known for producing high-quality products, and mine appears to be authentic. Who knows, though. br>br>Update*** This afternoon, I received the replacement; It turned out to be nothing more than a faulty harness between the 02 sensor and the gauge. In the gauge, the harness didn't fit properly. I didn't have to rewire or remove the O2 sensor because I was able to use the harness that came with the new box. Now it works as expected.
I'm using this to feed the AFR input to a Megasquirt PNP2 controller, and they're getting along swimmingly. It's a nice touch to put the hundredths place there. The bright scrolling colored LEDs on this gauge are mounted to my steering wheel column, and I can use them to estimate my AFR while watching the road during white-knuckle pulls.
I have a supercharged ls swapped 76 c10 and have been trying to dial in the tune, and this gauge lets me know exactly where I'm at after getting my bung welded in. The install was quick and painless, and the instructions were great. I would love to get more gauges from AEM when the budget allows.
I haven't installed it yet, so that's all I have to say about it.
Only a few hours into use, the sensor failed. It was a huge let down. My LM1 sensor lasts a long time, but I wanted to keep it permanently mounted in my truck. I've done a lot of research on this and it appears to be fairly common.
AEM, in my opinion, makes terrible products and provides poor customer and dealer support, so I would avoid buying anything from them.
If not installed correctly, the sensor heats up and may burn out. To the letter, follow the directions and the gauge's operation.
As always, AEM is fantastic, and the seller MA Performance is a pleasure to work with. We had a problem, and they stepped in right away and took care of it. I'm going to buy more from them in the future.
