It doesn't sit well with him, and I haven't been able to get him to return them because they don't work.
My van is a 2017 Ford Transit 350, and the slidelock is in excellent condition.
They aren't available for the front doors because attempting to exit one side if it is locked could be dangerous. These are intended to secure the contents of the partition back, not the cabin itself.

These locks are the perfect fit for my 2018 Ford Transit. It's the lock that's causing me problems. Extracting the key after it has been unlocked can be difficult at times. A few days after installing, I accidentally broke one of the keys. I make every effort to be as gentle as possible; after all, I am an elderly gentleman. I couldn't put much pressure on the key in the first place, so it snapped! I'm not sure if I'll continue to use it.
The side door is simple to set up and operate. It's critical to use an impact driver to properly set the bolts; otherwise, the plate will shift over time, potentially damaging the door. br>br>However, cutting the insulation on the back door is required, and while the fit on my van was satisfactory for closing the door, there is now a small gap and light hole through the area where the insulation no longer seals properly.
Is it possible that the lock's accessory is overly thick? We also had to grind off a key that was broken inside the slick lock by an employee. Now I need to find a single replacement lock that fits, or I'll have to buy the entire kit again.
The locks are great, but I wanted to leave a review for the seller. One of the keys broke off inside the lock and had to be drilled out after just over 6 months of use, which was outside of the warranty period. When I contacted Bird Ladders, they assured me that their sale was genuine! New Cores arrived in the mail from Bird! Thank you so much for going above and beyond!.
First and foremost, I have nothing negative to say about the product; it does exactly what it claims to do. Installing it on the van took me less than 20 minutes. Yes, you'll need to make a few minor adjustments to the weatherseal, but everything else was a breeze. The best part was that one of my questions was answered within 24 hours by Customer Service.
It works great, but you can't put both plates on the back doors, as with other kit I have on another van. There is insufficient space. But I don't mind because you can't open the door anyway with the lock on.
I think it's a good product, but in my case it doesn't fit very well because my van is a new Ford Transit 250 and in the back I can only fit one of those pieces, the reason being that there isn't a good adjustment between both parts; they should check the on specific Transit model; I was talking with everyone who had the same model and they all had the same issue.
I believe it is overpriced; it arrived as advertised, but I believe it is overpriced.
