I have no idea
I believe a dealer needs to sync them to your vehicle so the old key fob isn't wiped prior to syncing the new ones. If memory serves, you won't be able to sync them yourself, since you need a dealer to do it.
That will be the case
Yes, the old one still works You can view many great you tube videos on how to do it on the web

We couldn't use the video on our truck at first because it wasn't working. When I kept reading the instructions, they instructed me to look for the "I" located to the left of the radio. That too did not work. But then it clicked! After pushing the odometer button, I found the reset button or whatever it was, held it down, and it then said it was active and that I could program it. When I held down the lock and unlock buttons for a few seconds, We had to redo the original remote to make it work, but we programmed three of them and all of them Thanks a lot!.
I bought a 2-bedroom house Our aging Saturn Outlook 2008 came with a pack of these, and I flubbed my attempt at programming them. When I went back and looked at the directions on the web site I realized I left out one step, so I tried again, and it worked flawlessly. In my previous post, I forgot to hold down both the buttons on the remote and the "Relearn" button on the instrument cluster. My remotes were so easy to program once I knew how to do it We moved on to #2 remote once we heard the "chirp. ". Their range is pretty good and they have worked great for me so far. We find it to be perfect for our needs. Please read all directions first before buying so that you will feel more confident.
We are very pleased with the quality. There was one button missing on the original. You can open the trunk by pushing this It does not bother me at all.
There is no such thing. The feature that allows me to self-install is not available on my Silverado. The answer is (I had no clue). Chevy was the first place I took the remotes to (and I also called several other places that advertise they can program key fobs) There is no luck to be found. If this company could offer a bit more information, perhaps they could mention that you should check if your car has the self-programmed fob. It is a great service and I thank Amazon sincerely for allowing me to return this and for reimbursing my money Amazon is one of our favorite sites.
After following the online instructions, I was able to program these for my Chevy Avalanche 2007 easily. One glitch is that the instructions say that the new remote should be chirped when it is paired with the new truck system. The original radio did not work, but I believe it may be because the system we have is an aftermarket one. Other users report that these devices 'forget' their pairing and have to be paired again I have had mine working for several weeks already, but they must be programmed.
I love it.
The fobs were ordered for our newly purchased used 2010 Silverado, whose original owner lost his It took about 2 minutes to set up (including the opening of the box) and both worked flawlessly. The experience was definitely worthwhile!.
Despite the fact that they work great, there is no instruction manual It took me a while to figure out how to install using google. This upset me, so I felt upset. I was told to call a locksmith to set up the system. In any case, I found the instructions for setting the key on Google so simple for my Saturn Vue 09, which made it so much easier.
