Questions & Answers

Is there some sort of sensor that I can hook up under the dash that will be connected to the car when I use the key?

My vehicle is equipped with its onboard computer, nothing is hooked up to it. I looked up instructions on the online . You will need to turn on the power via the

The model of my SUV is the Chevy Captiva. I want to buy a tablet, but which one is best?

The year of your captiva determines how long you can keep it. The fob that looks exactly like the one that came with your captiva would be the best choice. The first thing to do if you bought the captiva used and were not given the original key fob is to go to the Chevy genuine parts website to find out what it looked like.

Do you know if it will fit a 2006 Chevrolet Impala SS?

You guessed it! My remote is currently being used with the exact vehicle I am driving

How does it work if you start your car with a remote? Is it just a matter of programming the remote?

When I use my fob to start my car, it doesn't work. My guess is that I will have to reprogramme the program.

It's a good match for an Impala 2008! It was $200 that the dealer was asking for
5/5

To make the keys for a 2008 SS Impala, you will need to pay $99. 00. Almost none of my $25 was left. You can purchase this key fob and a blank key from Amazon for $00 as a complete set. You can program your remote control and key with YouTube. The whole thing took about ten minutes. Savings of hundreds of dollars! I'm blown away by this.

Many people have no idea what they are doing
5/5

The reason some people behave the way they do is unclear to me. Having made this purchase (in order to replace an old, worn-out Teenagers out of the house, 13 years old & It consists of two parts- Fob), I browsed the reviews for this product here on Amazon. Besides local shopping, I shopped online as well My old remote was purchased at an auto parts store, but I barely succeeded in replacing it until I tried Amazon. I spent (almost lost) a significant amount of money at the shop, but I ultimately replaced it at amazon. It is clear from what I said above that replacing my old key fob at amazon was proving difficult, and I appreciate the opportunity to do so. Thanks to Amazon and other online stores I have now replaced my old key fob seamlessly. You can find this listing here. Despite Amazon's lower price, I was concerned about buying from them. As a result, I became more uncomfortable when I read the reviews of the product I wanted. A chance like this is to be believed and not to be missed You can see other reviews indicating people were displeased with headaches in these other reviews! Despite this, I thought to myself, "If I go through with this purchase, I might as well flush 14$ straight down the toilet". My attention was drawn to two very important considerations. There is a total loss of only 14 dollars (worst case scenario) (Better yet), the majority of people who have a bad experience don't know what they're doing! I'm not saying this to offend you When I tried to get parts from my local shop the first time, it was frustrating & confusing In the very near future, it could be very expensive. In conclusion, yes, there are a lot of crap products out there, as well as complicated processes that only a few people are knowledgeable about. When it comes down to a 50/50 chance of either working or not working If it doesn't work out for you, you'll lose a little more than a ten dollar bill! It has been a long day, so let me sum it all up now since I've rambled for too long. In the past, I tried an expensive device hooked up to my vehicle's scanner port under the dashboard. The device almost broke the port it plugged into, set off my check engine light by disrupting my vehicle's ECM, and caused my check engine light to illuminate. My new fob was never paired to my car in the end. Then I went on Amazon and found this listing, spent a fraction of the time I had originally planned, and purchased it ARRIVED 3 days after the order was placed at the original cost, and it took 3 days for delivery Here's what you need to know I was able to programme/ install my new remote/ pair it with my car all by myself in less than 30 seconds (no assistance from the dealership or locksmith needed)! It's so good to see you I. & II. By the way, We still have no problems with it, and it works perfectly now This is a great car for my GM. Therefore, if you want to take the plunge, go for it anyway. It seems too good to be true that the price is so low. That could be the case. You can also. My goal here is to be nice You might be better off having someone else fix your problem (such as If you want $100 for 30 seconds of work, you need to find someone who charges by the second You can buy a used car from a dealership If the issue persists, you will be charged $300 or more to have it fixed by a dealership, and with many vehicles, that is the only If you have no other choice, you don't have to feel bad about it. )

I hope this helped you decide! Peace & Thanks!.

After reading this, I have to say this I just tested it in a 2007 Buick Lucerne (I'm being VERY specific here) and seemed to work perfectly
5/5

In my view, there are two things to note Easy instructions are included on how to program the device into your 2007 Buick Lucerne's system. There are many places on YouTube that you can find instructions, or you can check your owner's manual. If you want the unit tested, do the following However, there are several limitations to consider. If you repeat this procedure more than twice, you will fail If this is not possible, continue the following We have successfully used any remote control for a 2007 Buick Lucerne for TWO consecutive times! Make sure you read your owner's manual. You may need to reboot your computer if you attempt to remote in If you start your 2007 Buick Lucerne more than two times in a row without putting the KEY in the ignition and turning it on, the remote start will not function! However, the engine will not start despite the lights flashing like they always do. What's the reason? The key must be inserted into the ignition switch, the key must be turned on, and then you can start the car with the remote control two more times. As a result of this "two-prong" I thought at first that the remote was faulty since most of the shows started at maximum, but it wasn't like that at first. That was not the case! My fault was that I was Taking a step back, it appears I have figured out what I am doing (which is a dooh! This remote unit comes with a number of features, such as door lock and unlock, truck open, and, of course, remote start.

This remote unit is an exceptional value for the price, and it is easy to set up. I recommend that you do not give $250 to a Buick dealership for the same thing and programming if you have a 2007 Buick remote. That's all there is to it!.

It did not live up to expectations
3/5

If you want only the shell, then this is not a direct OEM. It was necessary to reprogramme the device. This keychain does not allow using the original circuit board, so I was only interested in the plastic shell. There is no way to replace the circuit board if you need a completely new keychain. It ended up being an auto parts store that I went to. This is not a customer-oriented business Neither centric nor in the middle. Before this purchase, I hadn't had to pay for return shipping on anything on Amazon in a long time. If I were you, I would avoid this particular vendor and keep trying to find a fob!.

I am thrilled with this purchase
5/5

It is first important for me to say that, while I work at a car dealership (Mazda and Volvo), I drive a Buick for its Since I started in the auto industry 12 years ago, I have also sold Buick, Cadillac, GMC and Honda. Having gained considerable experience with keyless entry and remote starting, I feel qualified to make this statement. It is also well known that the dealer charges outrageous prices to replace or program these remote controls.

To be honest, I really didn't need a new remote, but the 2006 Buick Lucerne that I just purchased as a second car had 163,000 miles on it and the remotes were both a bit worn down. It still worked, but I wanted to get a new remote to make it look as good as the car. As a result, I ordered two. Please note GM cars from 2010 through 2014 should be able to access this simple programming! My results were excellent, and I was thrilled with them. With the remote start, you can start from a distance further than the original!.

A programmable match could not be found
3/5

Neither a Lock and Key shop nor an electronic store could As a consequence, I should have checked the code information on the original remote I still had when ordering. This would have helped me determine the proper match. The lock and key shop ended up charging me $85 for the one that worked. This one didn't work, but I was able to return it. There was a problem with the description of this item.
