16ga. The current carried by the wire will be around 13 amps. br>I use mine to keep the batteries in my truck and lawn tractors charged. It's more convenient and quicker to connect than fiddling with battery clips. br>If your fish finder uses less than 13 amps, it should be fine.

This is a must-have. These should be installed if you own any battery-operated item and use a trickle charger (which you should for all batteries). Riding lawnmower, boat, scooter, and other similar items fit perfectly, have a fuse, and simply work. It is highly recommended.

It's a good price for a good product

These have fuses and SAE connectors. I'm not using them to charge my motorcycle, but rather to collect solar energy. The SAE connector is a split connector that has one side that is longer than the other. Many other accessories, such as cigarette sockets, are compatible with the SAE connector. It is made of heavy gauge wire and appears to be well-built, with good strain relief.
