made of stainless steel and has a diameter of 3/8 in. There is one that is manufactured by another company. There is no quality to it, but it is OK. If you are investing in a stainless one, it is worth it.
Dear friend, I do not quite understand what you meant When you want to change the ball hitch size, you need to release the hitch tightener, but the hitch doesn't have to be completely disassembled for you to do so.

As for the bracket, it worked well to stop movement/noise, but it hit the ground every time it bumped. It was the U bolt, not the rack, that was hitting the ground. I thought that it was the rack that was hitting the ground. Because the bolts had bent over (see photo), I was unable to remove the nuts to remove the bracket. It had to be cut off in order to be removed. In order to mount a hitch cargo rack to my Ford Fusion, I had to use this adapter to attach a 1 1/4" to 2" rod. Seeing as the Fusion is not built for towing and has low clearance, it cannot be used for towing. Because the U bolt has long threaded sections, they allow the bracket to work on a variety of hitches, so they tend to contract the ground when going over speed bumps and on parking lots. I will cut the U bolt just past the nuts that secure it so that it won't come into contact with the ground if I purchase another (which I am probably going to do).
is a simple, solid, and low cost unit. What I bought a couple of years ago was a complex weldment with four heavy-duty tensioning bolts that required more effort Simple and very solid when installed, this option is much easier to work with. You will also get an added peace of mind if you keep it mounted on your hitch, as it will be harder to steal. In addition to prying off the pin, a thief would require wrenches. It is plenty solid for me to use it with a motorcycle carrier. This is an excellent book!.
The tool is light weight, but it is really strong and works well when For stability and ease of use, I would rate this 5 stars The user interface is straightforward. *Bensley, N.
I have a 2012 GMC Acadia w/ a 2" hitch, and it works great. As my Bauer bike rack is 1 1/4" wide, there was a lot of shifting going on. In the absence of this stabilizer, the entire rack would sway a few inches from side to side when I made There probably would be concern in the rear-view mirror for cars behind me if the entire bike rack (with the bike) detaches from the car and hits With this stabilizer, you can control up and down motion as well as side to side movement. When I drive with the bike rack installed, it gives me peace of mind.
This is to hold an 8" extension I had to fit onto my Jeep to ride on a bike rack. As you can see, the extension is anchored securely to the spare tire. I didn't feel like taking it off. The bike rack in the extension might need a second one to steady it. Though I think I'll swap out the nuts for self-locking ones.
My hitch needed to be secured to stop the noise. This one delivered exactly as advertised.
For big loads, it is of importance to be able to stop movement at a critical connection point, and this should be an available feature on every towing The price is reasonable. The only modifications I made were to paint it black and grind We would buy from this seller.
Especially for the price, I think this is a good product. Fits perfectly into my hitch and it is very fast considering this is the first time I have bought it.
