From the washer to the key pin hole, how long does it take? 3 1/2" or longer is what I'm looking for. ?

I just took some measurements so that I could give you an accurate answer. The distance between the bottom of the washer and the center of the pin hole on my pin is exactly 3 1/2".

Made for a low price

I wasn't hauling anything particularly heavy or driving crazy when it broke within the first 10 minutes of use. It nearly ripped out the wires to the small trailer I was hauling when it broke, so it almost cost me a lot of money. It's not just the frustration of trying to come up with a solution that works. My hour job is now becoming multiple hours because I have to stop to make a repair that I shouldn't have to do in the first place. This product is a complete waste of money.

It's fantastic! Hitch pin is small and difficult to use while wearing gloves

The large ring for pushing and pulling the pin is great, but the hitch pin clip isn't my cup of tea. It would be preferable if the detent was simply a spring and ball that could be pushed in and pulled out on the pin.

The fabric isn't very stretchy. Thickness is appropriate. Aside from the fact that the safety pin is a little stretchy, I would have been disappointed otherwise. I am grateful for that.
