I like how it fits

The product arrived on time, was well packaged, and the instructions were clear. It took us two people seven and a half hours to install it. Installing this device isn't easy at all. There was a lot of cutting and adjusting of frames.

There seemed to be something that was not right for me sold to me

My previous installations of base plates were all well fitting, but this one was totally out of place. There is no question in my mind that the bumper was designed for another vehicle before it was sloppily modified to fit mine. I finally got it on the car, but it didn't fit properly. Blue Ox did not respond to my call for assistance. This was not the correct part for my car, as I felt as if I was being sold it. In my opinion, Blue Ox is totally disgusting.

Doing this is not fun at all It is a project you undertake on your own, but it is worthwhile when finished

Taking it on in the garage really took a lot of time and energy by someone with no patience, but the time and effort (and a few cuss words) were well worth it. The difference is staggering when compared to the outgoing tow dolly.

I am using this as my second Blue Ox base plate

Having bought two Blue Ox base plates, this is the second one I My previous one was in my Saturn Vue, which I upgraded to a Chevy Captiva later. The one that I tested worked as intended. Having been professionally installed, I would recommend it. There are no issues to report.

I am very happy with this unit. I was very impressed with its construction and durability. From the front, you cannot see it all that well. Connection is a breeze, and every part of the device is of high quality. Almost anyone who asks about this product would recommend it to them.
