The answer is yes. In addition to spares, I now carry spare parts. I bought Blue Ox 84- and it is awesome. A replacement retaining pin for the 0140 tow bar is 1/2 inch long. The following includes The Tow Bar Clips come in sets of two. The tow bar retaining pin needs to be replaced

There ARE a lot of things I like about these

I really like these pins - they do a great job - The locks are not on the doors, so this is a good find. In contrast, when you put the rings through the holes on the bottom of the pin, they are called locking rings. They snap into place quickly and firmly fix the pins in place. It would be impossible for the pins to vibrate out of place if you locked the rings correctly. Then, they wouldn't be safe from would-be thieves without a lock There might be vandals who might want to destroy them, but it seems unlikely that this will happen. The ease of not having to deal with keys each time I hook up or unhook the car is remarkable.

The concept is good, but it can be improved

Tow bar link pins are pulled out of my tow bar link using a metal loop that is very thin, and I had to bend all of it back into shape in order to remove the pins. clips that can be removed are fine and the pin will rust eventually, but I anticipate that it will probably be fine for now.

The OEM replacement is the best

A very good product. It was great to see these available for purchase as I lost one of my Blue Ox retaining pins. It is easy to use and the pins seem to be well made.
