It definitely is the best I've Then again. Please take note of this warning. There is no connection between the Anderson Aluminum 5th wheel hitch and the trailer. A 3/4 inch clearance is too much for this ball to sit on the truck bed. This ball has a thick riser, but it is flush on the bed and tight as can be. The Anderson hitch in the truck bed will still free spin, even when tightened as much as it will go. So far, I've been getting along well with a 38-foot trailer with a 16400-pound weight rating using a 20K Reece Goosneck hitch rather than a 5th wheel hitch. It was super easy to mount it on my 2018 Chevy Dually 3500 with factory Puck system. It was also super easy to remove it and I was able to get my truck bed back.

B & B The equipment they make is of the highest quality. You really get what you pay for with these gooseneck ball and chain loops. It is a good idea to design the latch/handle to lock. There is no risk of preventing it from getting gummed up with grease like the Curt and Reese gooseneck balls do. For my two trucks, I have so far bought two of them. This is certainly a better product than the gooseneck ball that has the lock toggle built-in to it. I don't know why this is as expensive as it is, but I still prefer it. A Reese Goosebox 5th wheel conversion is what I use with it. It's good to have a case, the handle helps prevent getting grease on your hands when you're holding it, and you can easily tell when it's locked or unlocked. Both the safety chain hooks and the chain are very heavy duty. The investment is worth it if you tow with a gooseneck. The only thing I wish was that it was $100 less expensive.
