Despite its shortcomings, it performed well. It did not bend in any way that I observed. Over 120 miles of choppy California roads took me 120 miles to tow this tiny house. Because the hitch pin does not come with it, I took away one start. There is no need to pay a lot for a hitch pin, I just got one from Harbor Freight for $5, but the seller should include one when selling this item because with no pin it's pretty useless. The evening I got the item, I wasn't aware of the need for a separate purchase, so I had to go to the store the next morning after noticing it. The next morning I was going to tow, so not having that pin inside my underwear was a definite pain!.
S. A. This includes all B&G I've had good results with the stuff I've used. These are typical examples of their top quality work. The stool folds up under my truck when I'm not using it, so my shin bones will never be broken again. Due to the theft of my last hitch, I replaced all of my pins with lockers. I would appreciate it if B&N could With the locking pin version, W offered a more secure option. Be sure to also get the Silencer Pad. Unless you secure them with some form of tightening, all hitches clatter around and are noisy.
You can use the balls both ways so that you don't bump your shin into them. There is a lot of weight to it and it looks very solid. In the truck I store it in a bag but I really like how it looks mounted. You should grease the pins to keep them from sticking if you intend to keep it on the truck. It is quick and easy to switch between two balls of different sizes on the trailer that I have. For years, I had used separate mounts with balls, but the new truck has a 2 1/2" receiver, so I decided to go with this. Secondly, the price is a little higher, but I liked that this is made in the USA, so that was a factor.
I will be purchasing another one for my work truck when this is finished. Very well made, will be the last hitch I buy for my The hitch is a very high quality product and would be highly recommended to anyone seeking superior quality. A nice aspect of this is you only need a lock at the receiver to secure it.
I put this hitch to the test and it worked great, the only drawback is the clip pins that go into the pins can get knocked out by the trailer chains or by stepping on the top of the It will be easier to steal all three if you do not take it off and lock it inside the I was given a number to a company that does offer a lock, but the manufacturer doesn't provide one. Although I have tried small padlocks, I cannot find one with a shank long enough to fit in the hole and I would rate it a 4 out of 5.
Hitches of this quality are really great, and it works well. One thing that concerns me is the fact that the cotter pins that hold the pins in place are easily stolen, and even though they cannot steal the hitch once the pins are stolen, I'd still like to be able to lock those pins They are necessary for the hitch to work. Apart from that, I am very happy with the hitch and would definitely recommend it if you are planning on towing anything of considerable weight.
I gave it a one star review simply due to the fact that I've been looking for a pintole hitch receiver for my work since June of 2019. I'm sure there will be another one a year from now. There isn't the option to put one on top of the hitch I have or to do an exchange type program that really stinks.
Thus far, everything seems to be going well. Having it enclosed and out of the way makes it very convenient for me. My concern is the shaft separating from the adjustable part. I saw a guy who had one with that issue. I would rate it as The body of the hitch is constructed from a piece of 5" tube. In my estimation, there should have been more than four welds holding these Then again. That's all I saw from one guy after purchasing my own.
