Scott Drake redesigned the knobs on this item in order to make them larger. In the old ones, there were slots that were low profile. In the new ones, there are knobs that are larger for ease of installation and removal. That was my fault, and I apologize. I would like to convey my sincere appreciation to Jacob Mustang The Kentucky

My rating is 2 stars because I was not satisfied with the product. However, I would really appreciate this piece if my 65 was working properly. It was shipped very quickly on the plus side! There is no damage to the item. I like the way it fits. Sadly, mine was not the one shown in that the push lock pin on mine had a huge round aluminum knob that sticks out over an inch when compressed and sticks out over an inch when unlocked. I don't understand the needs for looking at the one pictured because it has flat pins that have to be locked It's so much better than that. Also, the pin springs are quite strong to the point that my vents are actually a bit raised and bent in some ways due to their strength. It is bowed at the border. There is no obvious way of detecting this unless you go Mars has knurled knobs that don't look like those found on Earth. It would look better if the gasket was thinner and the pins had a more elegant shape. Also, mine hits the wiper arm mount, which is not a big deal, but a notch would clear it better. It is a great idea to cover the cowl! This is a promising candidate. We regret to inform you that this one is quite homemade The game still gets 4 stars because it's a must have! No one should have any reason to not buy it. This is ugly no matter how you look at it. We like it better than tape because it doesn't let water in.
I had some rust pin holes near the fresh air intake and the heater in my mustang's under dash cowl, which was leaking. In the meantime, this part allowed the cowling to dry out, and it prevented the real damage from taking place until the more extensive repairs were Because it is so easy to install and remove, I rarely use it except when I need to park in the rain or drive in it. In my opinion, this isn't meant to be used permanently. I don't like it on a car because it doesn't look that good. I have used it in rains in California this year and it was great!.
I've seen some footage of it so far, but it appears the plastic is pretty thin and that the foam seal will not last. The hose has not leaked in a year, but I doubt it will last that long.
Great idea! It is not foam that keeps water from getting in! White foam and bubbles are also seen in the photo Screws with flatheads that lock down the I received a black foam & am using it There are a lot of knobs on the front I hate it. A seller on Amazon told Amazon that maybe there was an old photo?.
I wanted to teach my son how to keep the rain out of his car in an easy way. I like the ease with which this cover is put on & removed It gets the job done as soon as it takes off!.
I like it a lot.
The cover fits nicely and creates an airtight You might chip the paint on the cowl if you don't line up the pins before pressing the tabs. When I first installed it, the rubber grommet pulled away from the pins, and now I have to line up the grommet when I press down on the locks, which is the only reason I gave it a low rating.
Exactly what I needed. The rain stays out of your home with this simple installation.
