I bought an oversized 60-inch TV a few years ago, and it came pre-drilled with holes. There was one hole that was slightly off, but it was easy to
I am not sure how those numbers came about. Actually, the object is 54" long, 3 inches tall, and 3/4 inches Reversible and on the center line, it can be mounted either way around. A drilled hole's center distance is 1 " from edge. Next, it's 11", 19", 27, 35", 43", and the last hole is 53" or a hole's distance from another edge of 1 " or 2 ". The rubber blade is substantially quieter than steel, and will not scratch concrete or asphalt. This year, I plan to plow eight acres With 10 driveways, some long, and varying snow conditions from year to year, our Kentucky snow is always at its best. The 1st blade that was used in 2011 is still on the cylinder.
I do not believe it does
This 3/4" thick, 3" tall, 54" long non-hollow plastic is UHMW. Three holes are drilled in the center of the 3" piece and are 3/8" in diameter. The first hole center is one inch from the edge, the second hole is 11 inches from the edge, the third hole is 19 inches, the fourth is 27 inches, the fifth hole to center is 35 inches from the edge, the sixth hole is 43 inches, leaving one inch for For additional information, the original steel blade has a thickness of 1/4" and a height of 2". The holes are exposed 1 1/2" from the cutting edge and 1/2" A 3/8 square hole is punched in the steel blade for the square part of the carriage bolt. Rather than flipping over to restore the cutting surface, it is centered in the wear bar, so if it wears down to the plow body, just flip it back over.

It's the first). According to Amazon, the blade is as described. There was no real difficulty in installing it, but there is a story. Having gathered my tools in preparation of installing the new blade, a ratchet and 12 inch socket were all I needed to remove the old one. When it came time to install the new plastic blade, I noticed the fasteners were metric - so I found the right metric socket and got started. It wasn't long before I found the socket and was back at work. The holes in the plastic blade are not square, so the metric carriage bolts don't seat quite all the way so they can grab onto the blade. After a bit, I'll talk about that. The holes in the plastic ware blade do not line up with the holes in the steel blade, as some have complained. The holes on my Warn 54 inch ATV blade were very close and I would recommend starting with the two outer bolts before installing the two inner ones. By starting with the outside bolts, I was able to push the four inner bolts in with no problem. Do you know what those round holes in the plastic wear blade mean? assumed I could simply beat the bolt heads with a hammer until the square shank of the bolt seated in the hole enough to then tighten the nut - It wasn't until after I sat there contemplating for a few minutes that a light bulb went off. used a pair of vise grip pliers to catch the edge of the bolt head and tightened the nut to create sufficient space so that the square base of the carriage bolt was seated so I could remove the vice grips and completely tighten There you have it, the task is accomplished. During the winter here in Idaho there has been no snow on the ground or drive ways. So this was an abnormal winter for the wear blade. It will be necessary for me to make a comment later about.
There is a need to be careful the size you order, because the "54 inch reversible" is actually made from There is a regular 54" version made from plastic and it's It is easy to spot the difference in the description if you pay close attention. The one I wanted was not in stock and I had to return and order it. I have no complaints about Amazon's customer service, but I think in the first place they shouldn't mix and match products.
I have found that the bar has worked good for me, as it works well to plow light snow and slush that does not cause You should keep in mind that it is not as effective on hardpack and ice as a steel bar. Please read the following information on installing the program Because the holes were not aligned on the plow blade, I did not fit it at first. 53 1/2" is the length of the bar that I measured. Then, I realized I had left it in a cold garage so I took it into the warm house for a few hours and it expanded back to 53 15/16" and then fitted right in. Polyethylene (or whatever it is) expands and contracts a lot in the heat. I love science!.
My driveway just got plowed by this machine, and not only does it get the job done efficiently, but it does not make much noise. The sealer and the crete seem to be able to hold up to it for quite some time, and best of all, it does not damage either.
My installation of the software was effortless, even though I will update it after the upcoming winter In order to prevent shrinkage, I kept the bar inside the house before I installed it. I used ChannelLocks to hold the lug until it was tight enough to hold itself while the bolt was tightened. If you perform the above steps, it will be as quick to install as the metal bars were.
It has some good points I bought a heavy duty wear bar, which comes with carriage bolts and locking nuts. Its reversible when worn on one side. I had to open three holes to line up the bolts with the plastic, but the plow would not fit through the holes. In addition, the wear bar did not have square drill holes for the carriage bolts, so it was necessary to install them backwards to lock the bolts
If a little improvement could be made, this would be a 5 star product.
I like the.
I haven't been able to get it to work out on my blacktop drive.
A well-fitting plow is a necessity. Featured an easy installation. I would buy this product.
