Thule WingBar Evo Load Bars (Set of 2)

This set of crossbars for the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe is considerably more expensive than I had expected. A total cost of $599 was needed to cover all the other components from the list. I have no doubt that Thule has a good reputation, but I seriously doubt I will ever see its Instructions for installing the system were very poor. These are now on the Subaru WRX STi I just bought. The fit was perfect, and this is a sturdy, well made product that I have no doubt will stand the test of time and handle our two kayaks with ease. The Thule Evo Wingbars 135 were installed on our vehicles. I have a 2013 Toyota Highlander Hybrid with 53 inches of ground clearance. In order to accommodate the Thule Hullavator Pro, my roof rack had to be upgraded. In order to upgrade my Thule Crossbar System, I had to buy it. Amazon Prime gave me a discount on shipping, and the quality and appearance of this product are excellent. I used the Fit My Car feature on the Thule website. Thule offers these at the same price, but Amazon Prime gives me a substantial discount on shipping. They look great on my Highlander. I bought the black Evo Wingbars. As well as the Thule Lock system, I bought one. Quite satisfied with the results!.

There are two things I don't like about it the directions aren't very detailed and it doesn't have any pictures It exists. There is no indication of which faces the front or the back of the vehicle when you look at your dashboard. Essentially, the thin side facing the front of the car was the decision because I figured that way the THULE sticker could be read, so I chose the narrow blade look that opens outward. At certain speeds, it will make wind noise like a whistle if you install it this way. It was in front that was thick, so I reinstalled it with the thicker side facing forward, and the wind noise was gone.

The item I purchased was right before I brought my car in for repair. Only a few days had passed since it was published. The shorter bar on this was crushed when I tried to attach it to my car. Although the part came open-box, it was supposed to be thoroughly inspected and in good working condition. The item cannot be used and I can't return it since my car took so long to be repaired. More than $100 went down the drain.

My 2017 F150 has a Leer cap which has a Thule Tracker II system on it so I picked up these to add to I wanted to add 2 extra bars to the cab so that I could haul a 16' Thule bars are what one would expect from them. The build quality is excellent and the design is outstanding. In my opinion, and I've seen this in other reviews, Thule needs to reinforce or pad the ends of the bars for shipping. Aluminium is prone to denting, so it doesn't take much to get it dented. As a result of being thrown around during transport, both of my bars were dented. It is not a huge deal and has little to do with the installation of To straighten them enough to accept the ends, we used a pair of needle nose pliers and about 30 minutes. I ended up with a little chipped paint and damage to the tin. My bars had an adjustment it wasn't a major issue for me, but others may not like that because of the price.
