The answer is yes. You may not be able to install it before it's too late, but I installed it on a 2013 Honda Ridgeline and it works beautifully. My bed is covered with a hard cover, so my bikes can sit on top of it and they've traveled at highway speeds with no problems. Make sure you make sure your bike is off before you pull into the garage believe they are the same size.
You might want to stick the key in and rotate it slightly (to the right or left), then take it out and press I have an issue with mine
I would definitely say that
is compatible with most Chevy trucks, including those in the Colorado line

Since I have been using a (very expensive) Yakima hitch-pack for the last several years, I am setting a departure Rack mounted on my truck so that I can carry my bicycles. Unfortunately, a new development this year threw a spanner in the works The hitch is now kind of overrun by my travel trailer, which is actually my first priority. Because I didn't want to throw my expensive 29'er down the bed of the truck with ice chests and firewood when we go camping, I decided to look for an alternative. This carrier came up repeatedly in just about every search As a result of my decision to give it a try, I am The first thing I notice about it is how heavy it is Look at the pictures and you'll see that it has a much heavier feel and is much more substantial than it appears. There seems to be no problem at present - The work is done. This is already off to a good start. It's also easy to install, and the parts just snap into place inside Although I was worried about the amount of force required, this is actually not a way to bend out your bed rails. Even though it seems to require a huge amount of force to lock, it is very easy to do. I used some buckle-style straps to hold it in place for transport. If you set it back about five or six inches from the bulkhead, it gives you a place to slip your front wheel in. Straps that hook and loop around the horizontal bar are used to secure the wheel. To give you a better sense of the situation, I have an installed 2016 Ford F-150 My bike remained secure in the rack for an entire day, throughout which I ran all sorts of errands around town, and it never moved a muscle. In the RV this weekend, we are heading northeast in search of Memorial Day weekend, and I will have two bikes on it for six days. The litmus test will be that, but no problems are likely to arise. (The following is an interesting It was the first time I went to this lake with my new baby sister three years ago Yakima rack fell apart on the way to the customer when the customer purchased a $400+ rack. )
There is one recommendation I would make for the There are some pins that Swwagman supplies which screw into the feet of the carrier in cases where the carrier is dropped on its side There is bedliner in the bed. As I don't have a bedliner, I suggest you install the pins anyway, as they are thoughtfully located just below the bed rail. You get a little extra security this way Any fault on the carrier's part will be prevented by the pins, which will keep it from moving up and off I have an important announcement to make Keep your fingers out of the way when you lock down the Swagman bar, according to the manual. DO YOUR BEST TO REMAIN Trying to cam down that bar, I got the web of my right thumb in the wrong place and it bit me in the holy **** It's time to get the *#$% A large blood blister still exists on my arm. Simply keep your hands where they should be so that you will have a more pleasant.
This bike rack is very sturdy and secure. This is my second bike rack from Swagman, and I can attest to the quality of the racks they make. Although I have spent more money in the past on recognizable (Yakima, Thule) Racks, I now find that Swagman brand racks are just as good to sometimes even better than higher end brands. Swagman is also much more affordable than those more expensive brands. In my truck I keep this rack behind the seat, ready to go at a moment's notice if the need arises. It is ideal for mounting on a 2011 Ford F150 short bed. There is only one thing to watch out for when unfolding it to install, and another reviewer mentioned it as well Make sure you don't catch your hand or finger on the fold while it's being installed. It would have been better to have a movable hinge, because it would hurt. other than that, it is a great rack. It feels like you are getting a top notch rack at a fraction of the price.
A mattress liner is included with a 5' bed In this case, even if you drill out the holes for the pins provided, the product will NOT fit. It will not be possible for the rack to stay in place because the rubber pads will not be flush with the top of the bed. Using this product, you will not be able to close the tailgate if you own a mountain bike larger than a size large. This supplier needs to specify the make and model of the vehicle. The possibility of providing buyers with models so they don't waste their time is presented to them Buying a product that doesn't fit is a waste of money!.
I am happy with this product as it fits my needs This secures my bikes to my truck and is reasonably priced. It has a locking mechanism, adjusts to the width, and a locking mechanism. However, I was very disappointed when I went to install the rack and found out the locking mechanism was not functional. When the bolt was removed from the two components, it was discovered the pin did not clear the pre-drilled hole A hole has been drilled. My handy nature allowed me to fix it in 10 minutes and it worked like a charm. The product looks great, and I cannot wait to use it this weekend. I just feel bad for the people who can't fix it themselves and have to return.
Easy to install and uninstall. It is also easy to attach and remove bikes. As I noted above, the lock did not work for me so I gave it three stars. When it is removed from the truck, the lock is activated. As soon as the pin is installed, the lock cannot be pressed No matter what it locks, it would be easy for someone to steal. Therefore, a lock will not prevent it from being stolen therefore, it cannot be stolen without a lock. I don't see an issue with the lock, but the build quality seems decent.
A very sturdy bike holder that can be easily mounted. This is the second one I have purchased since I previously owned one and it worked well. Here is the problem. The locking mechanism does not The locking bar is not able to keep the bar securely in place, which means the whole system is always at risk. First time I put it in my truck, it locked okay but I had to do a lot of fiddling to unlock it. I haven't been able to lock it in place since that time. A 5 star rating would be excellent if I could replace it with a good replacement.
It's a great product, one of the best bargains out there! My first use was five days ago. My favorite thing about installing this program was that it felt secure and I usually just left it untouched. After I made a trip from Arizona to Bryce Canyon, Yellowstone/Grand Teton, Mount Rushmore, Rocky Mountain National Park, Durango, and back home, I stopped in Bryce Canyon. In spite of driving on dirt roads for hours and bouncing on them, my bikes remained secure the entire time I didn't have any issues nor did I have to worry about them It fits perfectly in the back of my 2019 Ranger with a 5' bed when the rear bike tires are angled to a slight degree. I am sure it will fit in any other pickup truck with a bed of 5 feet It seems to be able to adjust a wide range Good to go!.
It's amazing how much I like this unit. Thule 822XTR has been my backpack of choice for the last three years. I found myself in need of 2 additional skewers this year. Considering the price of locking Thule skewers at $79, I decided to give this unit a try. I was impressed with how it works and has a way better design than the Thule 822XTR, which retails for $250. As a result, I've relocated my Thule Locking Skewers to this unit, and yes, they fit without issue! I recommend the product!.
