This is not the case. If you wash the cloth after rubbing the glass, it won't remove the lens and will scratch anything else you use it on.

How can I clean my glasses with these? Glasses are ruined by the microfiber cloths they sell to clean them they leave streaks behind. ?

Ceramics and glass should not be applied with this product. The fibers are going to get everywhere no matter what it is you're.
