I used it on a motor cover, but I cannot tell you what it was. Coats that are light are best. Is a step in the right direction
The answer is hard to give since I am not sure how many coats are needed. The center console I built is 22 feet long and I used 5 cans Those in front of the console seat, the cushion for the leaning post and the backrest are all forward-searing cushions. If I had to guess, I'd say 30-35 centimeters. There is one coat in a can of 40 square feet each.
Clean all surfaces with a degreaser and thoroughly clean them. I think I used a tac spray from SM prior to the vinyl coat, but it's been a while since I did that. After that, seal the surface with a clear protective coating. Also, I discovered that a lot of light coats work just fine. takes only a few minutes for it to dry.
SEM might be able to help, but I would ask. It's likely that there are other products that would be more appropriate The finish works great on vinyl, but tends to be a little more rigid than the original. I am only speaking from personal

Restoring vinyl to its original state is easy! SEM Ranger Marine Offshore marine carpet is a perfect match to the white vinyl used in my boat's interior cushions, and last but not least, it's one of the least expensive brands available The white in this boat was a perfect match to the original color of the Bayliner 2152, many of the whites (from sem and other brands) came close, but failed to do the job. About 3 cans of paint were used to paint the vinyl on the engine cover, which was approximately 14 square feet in size. In addition to areas that were initially repaired with VLP, it also worked well over holes. I found 3 coats of spray paint to be sufficient, but 4 worked even better It may be better to choose 6. As a result, it looks absolutely new again, and even the badly damaged portions look 90% normal again, but they were really bad, so I was surprised it was able to fix it and make it look good. There is a $60 difference compared to $450 if the upholstery shop did the job. There is another $20 difference for VLP and cleaning materials as well. A few tips Repair holes, tears, and marks on the surface before painting - *Clean the surfaces thoroughly before painting The difference will be huge
*Spray a light coat over the entire surface, do not spray patches and spots, it may leave marks that are splotchy, uneven or off color. Plan ahead if you need to wet down the whole panel again to match a spot or if more coverage is needed, so you don't miss anything.
These are the parts I used for the curved bulkheads (the white plastic parts with texture, not the wood!). I have a 1977 Catlina sailboat, so you can see part of the cabin. When I had my portlights re-installed after forty years and several owners, I found several spots where things had been mounted and moved, some rust marks on screws in places, and some pieces of wood where it had been cut off and was stuck to the side of the boat Having been sealed, they were glued in slightly off from their original spots, leaving There were no paints to be found, so I found this one. The prep and the cleaner (soap) worked great, and the color matched perfectly. This is amazing. A smaller spray is made when using the nozzle than a regular spray can, which works great on my boat's small area. The drying time was short and the result was so good. I love it! The perfect match for my Catalina Sailboat's interior!.
This is an amazing article! The damage from the sun is now gone and my skin looks great. A bit on the pricey side, but it's a good deal compared to replacing a few seats. It has a very intuitive interface. The amount of coats required several cans, so I went through several. The best time to prevent damages from getting worse is during the early stages. It will slow down the sun damage if UV protection is applied.
Those holding up hold on. It is truly amazing how well this paint performs! This is a game changer when it comes to repairing and changing automotive interiors. Trying to match a white tone of someone's skin can be challenging. In order to get the best results, you need to prepare well before painting. As with all painting projects, SEM shouldn't get negative feedback because the color doesn't match the client's project. I was introduced to this by a friend. His 62 Ranchero has black vinyl seats and an all-white vinyl interior. This desk has held up for years in the hot sun and heat of Texas. I am impressed with the quality of this.
I can return the spray paint because it is a can of paint. That's kind of a bummer considering it costs $25 for a In order to get ranger off-limits, I ordered - When I ordered the Ranger white, I was sent Mystic white. I really did a great job of touch up my interior with the Ranger white, but Mystic White will not work for that.
A nice vinyl paint job. My SLK 230 interior trim pieces were painted with this product. It's not as good as it could be. We made up five pieces of the dash and center console, so we had to buy five of these. I liked the color of the door panels. They stayed flexible when I moved them. Scratch resistant but not 100%. The hard plastic parts were also sprayed with clear matte spray so the paint might not wear as well as it usually does. The coverage is pricey for what you get.
I really like the way it turned out! There were about six cans, three of them empty To get a complete, solid finish, apply 4 coats. Since then, I have used the boat twice in fresh water and once in The boat was packed with people stepping on the cushions as they entered and exited. Their ease of cleaning and appearance make them easy to maintain.
