It was recommended to me by someone on an automotive forum, as I was looking for a simple cleaner/protectant that should be safe to use on many interior surfaces (I didn't want to have to buy and use a special cleaner for the small amount of leather in my car). When given the choice between pineapple or baby powder, I chose the latter, but now I am thinking that I may have made the wrong choice.
The scent is quite prominent, and I find it quite odd to get into the car with it smelling that way. However, I'm not sure pineapple would have been better than the ham. Unfortunately, the smell does not last more than a day or two, but I wish there was a simple "paste with no scent" option.
It also cleaned some things better on a steering wheel (in all fairness, Maguiar's has some advantages). The smell is also very nice. As a result, my wife was amazed and happy how the detailing turned out on her SUV. We live in a happy home with a happy spouse! This is a very good purchase all in all!
