What a great stuff this is. Regardless of what kind of carpet I have, I have three sets of stairs outside my apartment that have the low pile, high traffic kind of carpet. I did not wear gloves and it did not hurt my hands. It has a pleasant scent that does not seem overpowering or artificial. If you have a carpet that needs to be cleaned, I would recommend getting it cleaned! I like it because it's not smelling bad or having bad stuff in it. I am delighted with your response!.

It takes the stain out after I leave it on for the specified amount of time. Also, I want to emphasize that it doesn't harm pets since I have a cat at home.
