That's correct. Mine is equipped with a yellow Megiuars bucket and a grid guard.
This will only work with the genuine Grit Guard; it will not work with any other product.
The Wash Board attaches to the Grit Guard® and will fit if you have a bucket that fits the Grit Guard®.

So, this product functions perfectly and accomplishes its goals. However, in order to get the most out of it, you'll need a good system in place with both the Gritguard and the bucket you're using it with. If your Gritguard doesn't fit all the way to the bottom of the bucket, the washboard can stick out a little and splash when you use it, which I don't like; if your Gritguard doesn't fit well to the bottom of the bucket, it spins everywhere and it becomes annoying to readjust it every time you want to use it; if your Gritguard doesn't fit well to the bottom of the bucket, it spins everywhere and it becomes annoying to readjust it every time you When the Gritguard rotates in the bucket, the dirt from the bottom is stirred up, causing it to become counter-rotating. beneficial.
It's obvious to you. You, like me, are a car care nerd. I like that I don't have to stick my arm as far into the water as I used to. This useful item is also at an angle that encourages proper washing of the wash media. This serves as my pad scrubber, while the original grit guard serves as my debris collector.
I've always lifted mine to get all the embedded dirt off my wash mitt, and seeing this made me think "Finally" and "I'm so stupid. " I'm sure we've all lifted our grit guards, but having a product that works hormonally with the grit guard makes everything better.
These are a fantastic addition to the base of the Grit Guard. Added to the rinse bucket and used to "washboard" the chenille wash mitts against it to remove any debris.
Adding a grit guard to the bucket's bottom helped me avoid picking up wash debris and rubbing it all over my car. This feature makes it even easier to rub the bottom of the wash mitt over a surface to loosen any debris that may be clinging to it, reducing the risk of contaminants adhering to the clear coat and scratching it - when we're trying to get rid of it. This was a great addition to my RINSE bucket (which was just water), but I still prefer to use a separate soap bucket to keep contaminants off my vehicles' paint.
Even with the grit guard, I was just dunking the mitt into the bucket, but now that I've added this washboard, I'm scrubbing the mitt against it as I dunk. It just seems logical to me that this will help remove any loose materials from the mitt before applying it to the car's surface.
This is better than just using a grit guard because it's easier to scrub and agitate your wash mitt at this angle rather than the lower flat horizontal surface of a regular grit guard, which gets more dirt off your wash mitt and off your car. I also don't see the need to use two grit guards if you have this. To attach this, make sure you have the necessary holes in the center of your existing guard.
It does exactly what it says. The peg legs fall off when attached to the wash bucket strainer, which is a problem. I used gorilla glue to fix the problem. After gluing the pegs, all I have to do now is maneuver the bucket strainer and reinstall the washboard. I would have sent the washboard back to Amazon if I hadn't used glue. The bucket strainer at the bottom of the bucket is fantastic.
