It is dependent on the number of stuck drive wheels. br>At least one, but two is usually preferable for a safer combination, as two drive wheels losing traction off-road can be dangerous. It is not uncommon to find yourself on the road or in the snow/mud. However, you'll usually only need two.

It's not bulky or messy, and it's simple to store. They were fantastic in soft playa sand/mud (think Burning Man!) as well as snow. situations of this nature. br>br>I had a minor hunch/concern and felt compelled to name the seller (EVTIME - For the prompt response and customer attention I received from multiple 3rd party sellers with nearly identical items like this (to be clear, this applies to them, not the product). I'm confident in the future because of the excellent customer service I've received.
roading! I also appreciate how easy they are to roll up and that they come with a carrying case. They don't take up much room and can easily be stored in my trunk when I need them!.
For context, I work for an international delivery company, and I specifically work in the Illinois area. Simply put, I got stuck at the top of a hill, threw these things underneath, and boom, got right back on my way. br>br>Called my boss immediately after to tell him how they worked, got back to the shop as he was going to rescue more of our vans that were either stuck or in the ditch, let him borrow my pair, and he never once had to hook up a.
It does exactly what it should. My fiance drives a Prius in Minnesota (I know, it's crazy), and he got stuck driving down our back alley. All he had to do was toss this sucker under his tire and presto, instant traction. It's preferable to strew a car mat across the floor. For drivers in cold, snowy climates, this is a must-have item.
The mats are thick and well-made. It will not appear damaged if a heavy truck is driven on it. You should order two mats, one for each drive tire.
It's not much of a help for me because I use it and it keeps sliding through the tire. I bought two of these to make sure it would work, but it doesn't. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this outcome. It's been snowing a lot here in Chicago, and I've gotten stuck a few times. I'd rather shovel than drive on this tire track. This thing, for the record, does not have a grip.
I bought these with the intention of using them off-the-grid. 2' of snow on the road They work fine, but the tires grab them, shoot them right under the tire, and fold them up into a berried little pile. I'm driving through snow that's too deep to get to hard ground, and these don't appear to be designed to grip snow.
Sure, it's hefty. I'll update this review once I've had a chance to use them. I was already convinced it was of high quality before I even took it out of the package. I was taken aback by how heavy the box was, and this usually translates to better quality. I was impressed when I saw them. I can't rate the quality until I put them to use and see how well they hold up.
