I can tell from the label that it is 50/2, which would mean it is a 2 ply of 50 weight.
Definitely, it is very strong and will hold up well to hand piecing as well as appliqué. I use it all the time My entire quilting is threaded with this thread.
Without a doubt! This thread has been a favorite in my machine for years. You will love it, too. I'm a quilter and use it all the time.
There is no listing or price on my site like that. That belongs to someone else. I am Sue

A young man I used to be is no longer me. With my experience as a consumer and shopper, I'd say that I've gained a modicum of wisdom.
Amazon's search results are loaded with dirt-cheap, made-in-China products. A cotton thread made in China. You did a great job on them. They have a beautiful color scheme. There are so many items that can be purchased for such low prices that it could be overwhelming! Since we retired, my wife really started getting serious about sewing, so I gave her those when she really got into it. There was a lot of thread in so many different colors that she was thrilled to have. Like a child in a candy shop, she told me she was enchanted by the experience It was great - until the problems came up. A lot of thread "dust" would build up inside the bobbin area, causing jamming issues that would prevent the thread from winding. You'd encounter all sorts of tension issues and, worst of all, threads would break when you least expected it. It often caused her projects to look a lot worse than they should. After a short while, my wife told me to never, ever buy that junk thread in the future! During the period of obedience I was respectful. In order to save money I went looking for threads that were a bit more expensive, and finally found Aurifil thread that was more economical with a 1,422 yard spool. I have used Aurifil cotton thread exclusively for the past five years, when my wife began sewing. As you can see, all of the problems encountered with cheap threads have been completely removed. You can count on me not to I would venture to say that there is no thread brand in the world that consistently delivers perfect results all the time. For that matter, no product brand is ever nearly perfect. But, where thread is concerned, I would suggest that AurifiI is as close to that lofty ideal as possible. This is a fantastic product that I highly recommend - With 100 percent confidence, use Italy Aurifil cotton thread!.
I definitely did not need or want that.
The thread would not work well and was caught in the tension and wrapped around the needle, which led to kinking. Bernina recommends high-quality thread for my sewing machine. The company responded rapidly and was very helpful in solving my problem. I received my refund after I returned both spools because i bought two colors and suffered the same issue on both. The reason I give the product four stars is due to this. I was sorry to have failed with Aurifil.
Despite my minimal experience with it, it appears quite durable, but I have not used it long enough to give an accurate assessment. The quilt I make is for my mother. The software is used by a handful of national teachers every day. For this reason, I ordered A lot of money is spent on it.
It has been my go-to thread for many years when it comes to quilting, as well as any other sewing-related project. I have no difficulty breaking it or allowing it to nest out of the bobbin because it is strong.
I have bought from this seller on four occasions. I highly recommend them. As for the thread, it is 100 % cotton that I use for It is also useful for making the rope bowls I make which require.
The quilt I make is for my mother. It will be hard to find another thread like this once you use it. I have a lot of lint on my previous thread. There is no noticeable lint on this thread. Keeping my machine clean is important to me. However, it is quite expensive. It would be nice if it was cheaper, but a spool lasts a very.
As another person pointed out, I also had problems with the bobbin due to the thread wrapping around too much. There were too many curly threads, for lack of a better expression.
