It's possible, but it wasn't designed that way.
It's designed for the right hand, but a lefty could use it as well.
I'm not sure how to tell if they're genuine, but they're well-made and razor-sharp. The spoon blank is smaller than I expected, but it turned out to be a lovely coffee scoop. This set has no flaws in my opinion. Also, it arrived in a very nice package.
It's made of American walnut, my friend.br> Please contact us if you have any problems; we are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.br>Thank you.

I'm happy to report that they're both sharp and well-made. br>br>The attractive bamboo box in which everything is packaged is excellent. A small blade cover is included with each tool, and it's a nice addition to the kit. Their handles have a solid feel to them, and their blades are sharp and easy to sharpen. The included leather strop is designed to be used with the included abrasive compound on the rough side of the leather. I already have a couple of strops, so another small one is always welcome. br>br>There were no instructions included, which I don't mind. We received a spoon-shaped piece of wood to practice on and, of course, make a custom chili spoon out of the cut level 5 gloves. br>br>The three knives alone are worth the price of admission, but the additional bonuses are all useful, and I'm overjoyed. It's time to yell at kids, eat butterscotch candy, and whittle my spoon on my front porch.
The knives are a knockoff of better products such as Beaver Craft, which makes the exact same product for almost the same price, with the only difference being the obvious inferior quality of these knives: they dull too quickly, some of the edges have already chipped away after the first use, the box it comes in literally fell apart within the first week, and the sheathing for the knives is almost worthless. Worst of all, they try to buy your reviews and ratings in order to increase their sales (which they never do). ) Invest in a company that produces quality tools, and your skill and craft will improve dramatically.
Reviews that have been influenced. The product is as described, but the note included in the package has left me with mixed feelings. br>br>This appears to be the same as other similar kits available on Amazon, but the reviews for this product are better because they are paid for.
Only left-handed people should use the spoon cutting knife safely. We bought it primarily for the spoon carving knife, and the seller should clearly state that it is only for left-handed people. This was a present for my son, and it was a complete letdown.
I've decided to try my hand at whittling and wood carving, and this set of knives appears to be of good quality. The shaped handles are pleasant to hold, and with my small hands, handles always appear to be enormous. br>br>The gloves (size 'M') are too small for the "Hulk," but they can still be used. But, as I previously stated, I have never carved anything before, and this set of tools appears to be very well made. br>br>The protective covers are great, except the snappers on the'spoon knife' are way too tight, and would pull out of the curved spoon knife cover if I hadn't used a tool to open the snappers; perhaps Velcro 'buttons' would be a better idea, as Velcro would not pull out/off. Also, it would be helpful if the sharpening compound's little box was labeled so that it didn't look like the bottom of the compartment in the fitted mat that the tools come in, giving the impression that the packing/shipping department had forgotten about it.
The carving tool went right into the finger the first time I used them, cutting it cleanly. The tools are nice and sharp, but the gloves are nothing more than standard work gloves that offer no protection.
He aspires to be one of those crotchety old men carving spoons and other trinkets on a porch rocking chair in the country. br>br>So I looked for a set that appeared to be of good quality and came with a storage box. This was the one I chose, and it arrived just a few days ago. The set is lovely, and I'm looking forward to giving it to him for Christmas! The blades appear to be sharp, the wood handles are smooth and polished and feel good in the hand, and the gift box is a great place to store them. I'm sure he'll enjoy it. Thank you very much! br>br>.
Overall, this kit provides excellent value for the money, as it includes not only three knives but also a pair of cut-resistant gloves. Knife blade covers, as well as a leather strop, are all available. To sharpen them, use polish. Sharpening the blades is necessary from time to time, but that is to be expected. Others should be aware that knives should always be sharp (dull blades require more force to use, making them more likely to injure you than sharp blades). I've already avoided a few nicks and cuts thanks to the gloves, which is fantastic. This kit comes highly recommended by me to anyone interested in learning basic wood carving or whittling.
