The ones I found did not have hollow centers.

Spray painting Styrofoam balls is not something I have ever done. However, do try using H20 spray paint or Urban Fine Art Toy Styrofoam spray primer to seal the foam and then spray painting

A sphere that isn't perfectly round

I found that this ball did have a few slightly flattened spots two inches in diameter, so knowing this might be helpful to you. There's a 1/8-inch reduction in curve at those points based on my estimation. The balls had to be made from the powder, is that right? This is a very subtle sphere, but if one is looking for an absolutely perfect sphere, As the foam is comprised of many tiny foam balls, it's similar to the way you'd find a television packaged. Foam like that found in egg cartons is not this kind.

This product is of excellent quality, and it has a GREAT price! I like these a lot! For my daughter's upcoming wedding, I will use them to make brooch bouquets for the bridesmaids

I was impressed how well packaged they were and that they were in excellent condition (no dents or dings). I think the pricepoint is great. A person this cheap is impossible to find at any big box store. I will definitely buy this item.

Everything was in perfect condition when they arrived. However, I did not compare the price to JoAnn's or any other store but it was really convenient for me to order and have it delivered to my house (while running around preparing for a We kept the fake flowers in the room and will keep my homemade for a while. The quality is excellent.

Printed on sturdy cardboard and placed on a foam disc for tabletop use. The feathers and the dowel rods were easily accepted. I had searched high and low for exactly what I wanted.
