The stamp head has a diameter of 1 inch. 1" in diameter I hope this has been of assistance.
2 or 2 as the case may be. 1 pulgada, 5 cm
My granddaughter received this as a gift. I'm not sure if she's used it, but I thought it was a well-made gift for the price; stamps in local hobby shops are quite expensive compared to this lovely set.

This is perfect for me because both my first and last names begin with S, and the border and crown are lovely, especially for a woman (but not exclusively for women). The box is dark brown and dense, and it is only closed by a ribbon. It looks like a small bible. The spoon is silver and extremely durable, and the two small candles are of sufficient size to accomplish the task for which they were included in this kit. Because the wax candles don't come with wicks, you'll have to cut them and use a spoon to light them. The gold is a dark yellow gold with swirls, the silver is a bright metal silver with swirls, and the red is a dark Crimson that is completely matte (solid) with no swirls or sheen. The stamp itself was large and heavy, with a gold embossed handle. Holding, carrying, and using it is simple. Update: I tried it for the first time today and it worked perfectly! I cut a small piece of each of the three and melted it in the spoon. If it starts to boil or bubble, move the spoon away from the flame; it doesn't have to be directly on top of the flame to melt. When the chunks are melted, remove the spoon from the fire and wait for the bubbling to stop before pouring; otherwise, the stamp will be sticky and smudged. Pour in the center first, then work your way around the perimeter to form a perfect circle. Allow 5 seconds to pass before gently pressing your seal stamp into the circle's center. I simply placed it on the table and left it there for one minute. When I took it off for the first time, I grabbed the handle, pushed it all the way down, and then straight up, and this is what I got. By the way, the red looks magenta when combined with the gold and silver. However, it appears to be a true dark red when viewed in isolation.
This is the ideal starter kit for beginners, with a great price and simple instructions. The box is cute and functional for storing supplies. I had so much fun with this item that it inspired me to find more people to whom I could handwrite letters just so I could use the sealer. One disadvantage is that if you plan on doing a lot of things (i. e. You might want to get a spoon rest/holder to put the tea light under if you have a lot of invites. Place a spoon on top of the wax to melt it (Melt - Melt - Melt - Melt - Melt - Melt - not cook! I also used to use the candles with the wick that melts the wax directly to the letter when I was a young adolescent. This item requires cutting small pieces from the wax stick, placing them in a spoon, melting them, and then pouring into an envelope, which I prefer. Beautiful work of art! I would strongly suggest it.
The seal design on this is nice, and when you can get it straight on in the direction you want it to go, it looks great. The problem is that the handle is crooked in comparison to the seal's design. I've tried unscrewing and re-screwing, but it doesn't seem to work. It's all in the details for me - I've tried screwing the seal part onto the handle numerous times in the hopes of solving the problem, but it hasn't worked. I guess it's the Virgo's fault. br>Nice heavy metal frame, and as I previously stated, the seal design is one of my favorites. I'm having a hard time getting past the crooked handle.
I absolutely adore it! It's so elegant, and it appears to be well-made! The materials are nice and heavy. My very first attempt turned out fantastically.
The stamp's design is absolutely stunning! And I decided to practice using this kit on a notecard before using it on letters I'm going to write to my new pen pal (whom I have a slight crush on), and I thought it would be difficult because I'm stamping wax over pressed flowers, which I've never done before, but I succeeded on my first and every try! It's very simple to operate! 100% recommend this kit ESPECIALLY because of its price!!.
Wax is very effective! Seal your letters with wax if you want to add a special touch to your correspondence. My granddaughter and I have been writing weekly letters during the pandemic. This is a lot of fun for me. We write about past experiences and things we enjoy, which will serve as a wonderful memory for us during this period.
This lovely full-size wax seal kit comes in a sturdy book-like box with ribbons that can be tied shut. A flocked, molded plastic liner holds the individual pieces in place. Two aluminum tea lights, a wax melting spoon, and three full-size, no-wick (duh) sealing waxes in red, silver, and gold are included. The seal has a comfortable to use smooth, polished wood turned handle. The seal head is made of brass and has a clean engraved design. The engraving is detailed and deep enough to leave a clear impression while also being smooth enough to avoid sticking. Unfortunately for me, my set arrived in hot weather and spent the majority of the day in a delivery truck. The tealights melted all over the inside of the box, ruining the appearance of the outside. I'm going to keep this set because it's for me. If you're buying this as a gift or need a nice box, wait until the weather cools down so you don't have to deal with the melted wax like I did. Samyo should sell only the seals on Amazon, in my opinion. I don't need the entire set because they're of excellent quality and I already have my own sealing wax preferences.
However, it's an odd application. Years ago, I had a sealing wax and stamp set, the kind with wax sticks with wicks that you light and then pour onto the item you want to seal. The sealing wax sticks in this set do not have wicks. Instead, I had to light the tealight, place the melting spoon over the tealight, and press the stick into the spoon until the wax had melted enough. After that, I had to pour the wax onto the item and use the stamp to press it down. Mission accomplished, but the melting spoon is now filled with squandered wax, which I'll have to clean out if I want to change the color next time; otherwise, I'll continue to use it. The boxed set is extremely attractive. However, it is not as straightforward as other sealing wax products I've tried.
