It took some effort to get it free. When I first used the tape, it seemed thinner, and it was much easier to kink, fold, and generally misbehave. The first three inches of tape that I used released from my glass when soldered, leaving a mess on the glass and requiring me to repair it. At that point, I was not a happy camper! I'm now "gun shy" of Studio Pro tape, despite Amazon refunding my money after I returned it.
I had to open the package because the product would not unroll from the "easy pull dispenser pack. " The back side of the tape was completely adhered to the packaging and had to be pried away from it, taking with it paper and cardboard. The tape's sticky adhesive has oozed out, as can be seen on closer inspection. It's either an old product or one that's been kept in a very hot environment.
The most recent one I purchased, on the other hand, has been sticking to the inside plastic and not coming out of the roll as it should. Because it hasn't happened with rolls, I'm hoping it's a one-time occurrence. When it's working properly, it's a gel-backed product that makes foiling glass pieces a breeze.
It is highly recommended.
The foil clung to the cardboard back. I'm not going to buy it from this store again. I'm guessing I'll be able to get 3 feet out of it. Be wary of the buyer!.
It was delivered quickly.
Excellent product; it takes some getting used to in terms of handling and working with it, but once you do, you'll be fine. There's a lot of tape on your hands! love it!.
