Questions & Answers

What is the use of this product for sealing metal lids on trash cans that are used as faraday cages? Are it good to use as a protective layer for electronics from electrostatic discharge?

The Amazon answer on this page states that it is The unit of measure is .00mil If Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil is 0, then it is not a good choice. 63 million *016mm) and Heavy Duty Reynolds Wrap. This sum equals 94 million layers of this is equal to three layers of aluminum foil that they recommend elsewhere on the Internet to protect from an It's important to note that when sealing the 'trash can' lid, the first layer goes on FIRST, then the second layer is placed about a foot beyond the first start (so the second layer overlaps the first layer to ensure no air gaps are left). In the same way, the third layer should overlap both previous ones

Is it possible for two strips of tape to transfer electricity when they are placed one on top of the other? Do you have any suggestions as to how I might power an LED model kit with this tape but still ?

Hello *br> Thanks for the question. Yes this would be feasible as the tape itself is copper, so it is conductive, and the adhesive is as well. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope it helps. Sincere Regards, Sam Harwood Kravex

Will the tape stick to the inside of brand new leather sole moccasins if I line the inside with tape? What is the grounding system used for?

You are fine with the shoes since they are already rubber. However, you might want to consider cutting out an "undersole" by drawing the shape of the sole onto copper tape and You might have problems the first time, but remember that you are creating a humid environment with heat and sweat in your shoes. There's enough tape to go around on the roll, the price is right, so I would put it to the test.

What is the benefit of taping the backside of the pickguard where the pots attach as far as shielding the guitar's internals?

In order to minimize the hum from the video, you need to make a Faraday cage with the tape. As a result, you need to cover the bottom and sides of the cavities with tape a small amount overhanging Tape the pickguard along the back of the pickguard so it makes contact with the tape when mounted and would create the cage when it is in place.

The copper blades are similar to razors
5/5

The guitar was shielded with this. Exactly what I needed. Also, it will make you cut your hands faster than Jack The Ripper when A copper razor blade is what it is. Because it was able to remove an impressive amount of blood from my body, I gave it five stars.

PUT YOUR CARE into it.

COPPER TOP is the top of the heap
4/5

It's still too early to tell. Although it has only been on a week, I have yet to see any bugs, worms or slugs in my tomatoes or Despite its ease of installation, the product has a few drawbacks. Windy days are not the best time for this. The idea of having a second person in the room may even be a good idea. The one I have is on an elevated planter I built myself. It is 5'x2' and 18" deep and is 37" off of Typically, I use cedar for my planters, but in order to be sure the tape would stick, I painted a 4" band of sealant (shellac, poly) around the whole thing. I have attached a photo to this update. If you want to know if tape works, have slugs and catapillers try to close the tape and fail. There is no better feeling than being happy!.

We used this to shield our Fender Stratocaster and it worked really well
5/5

As a result, I had for a very long time been plugged in. I used this to shield my Fender Strat and it worked well. The problem was that I had for a long time plugged right into my amp without pedals and sometimes I could hear a small hum, but mostly the hum was very low or no hum In recent days, I have been using more pedals and the hum when I play my Strat has been more noticeable and annoying, but what I have also noticed is that on my Les Paul (Humbucker), I no longer get any noise from the pickup. As a result, I did a little research, and people mentioned copper shielding, which worked! I do believe that the sound sounds far better when it is not affected by noise, almost like a pristine tone. This is good stuff.

Exactly what I needed
5/5

This shield was used to protect the pickup cavities and the control cavity It appears that the shielding is in perfect shape. I measured the conductivity of the adhesive with my DMM and found it to be perfectly acceptable. Nevertheless, I put a small strip of tape on the edge of each piece anyway to be extra sure that the continuity would be maintained. However, you are not required to do this. Within the cavity, there is less than zero resistance measured across the widest portion. Two stars.

Compatible with DVDs, but not I think I got a betamax instead of a VHS, but so far, I am not quite sure what happened
5/5

I really had problems with my player because of it. In all seriousness, if you have looked at this product, it's likely you have a concern with protecting your guitar's cavities and pickguard.

Before you get started, you're going to want to gather the following materials 1 .
A precision cutter is needed for this process. An Xacto knife is the tool of choice. 3.
The gloves are made of Nitrile rubber. You can do this optionally, but if you do, you'll end up with some sharp metal bits You will end up with more paper cuts than you can count if you don't pay attention. The third part. You should have a workbench that is appropriate for your A plastic folding picnic table covered with an inexpensive flannel sheet was used (to minimize the spread of metal debris and to protect the finish of my instrument). My advice made it easier for me, however, if you don't want to follow it, you can ignore it anyway. I know you were going to ignore it This tape isn't exactly easy to work with, but if you have a bit of patience and can think your way through some of the trickier curves, you'll pick it up.

It's just a click away! Spend the money and get this stuff if you have ever thought about using aluminum foil and spray glue for isolation of your guitar cavities
5/5

There's no difference in the products and the prices are half that of their competition ( as the roll is twice the size ). There are many detailed instructions for the application of copper foil on the internet. I will not repeat them here. The thing I can tell you is that this roll can probably be played with three guitars. The process of wasting some is part of the process, so that's good to know. As an added benefit, the company also provided excellent customer service in the event that you needed.

The tape works great as a shield! A guitar I was rewiring had a control cavity and pickup routes that I used this to shield
5/5

It's thinner than the stuff I'm used to getting, and initially I thought "oh well, they did state that its thickness is thin, so it might be just lightweight for drones/RC stuff", but I used it anyway, and it is amazing how well it performs. 1) The adhesive was excellent it adhered to both paint and bare wood without a problem, and it was a single complete circuit when I tested it across the first and last pieces. As a result of it being thinner, I did not have any issues with tearing and damage. I liked working with it because it was more manageable Additionally, if you're shielding a drone or RC vehicle it would be nice to have a light weight. Copper shielding tape has all the benefits copper tape is supposed to have. In my experiment I found that thickness had no bearing on the resistance of the material to blocking noise I'm now playing the guitar with such a low volume that it's almost unnoticeable In addition to the gain setting, ground the strings and bridge when not touching.

It does an excellent job of protecting plants from slugs and is perfect for crafts
5/5

This product is great for protecting plants from slugs and can be used for craft projects as well. Different sized rolls are great, but I wish I had known that buying multiples would save me money. There is no difference in the performance of the 3 sizes. The cooper net beneath your plant pots will help to keep them clean. The tape is easy to crinkle, so please handle it carefully. Make sure you measure twice and You'll enjoy it.
