How do you figure out how big 36" is? Is that the poster's size or the frame's outside size?
I'm at a loss for words. It was perfectly sized for a poster of 24x36 inches. You'd lose some of the original poster image if you matted it. Is this of assistance?

They're only available in sets of two. The length of both pieces will be the same.
