You can easily use it and it is portable as well. That doesn't mean it's of poor quality, however, because it is very good for what it is. There are a few things wrong The purpose of this tool is to punch holes in lids of mason jars. Because of the size of the opening of the lids, the lip does not even fit in the groove without seriously deforming it (which would render it useless as a lid). The hole punch for this was different from the one I used before. As a whole As I didn't take note of the size before I got it, the bad parts of this were mostly due to my own negligence. Yet although I knew I would never use it again for this purpose, I kept it for other reasons. This device accomplishes its purpose, and it is a quality little device, but it is small and hardly noticeable in the hands. This is a smaller, portable hole punch for the money that I would recommend to anyone who wants a good punch for a small price. The hole punch would not be a good option for anyone looking to punch holes in mason jar lids.
